Denon
SykoCorp Power Plant
andreasrocha-sci-fi-powerplant-1-81b9fdc1-tms5.jpg
The power plant was deserted, everyone had clocked off for the day and everything was silent. Then the sound of a large explosion could be heard coming from inside one of the buildings, following the explosion came a figure shooting through the side of said-building. Trailing smoke, Cas sailed through the air before coming to a stop, slamming against one of the cooling towers. Sliding down and onto the floor, Cas groaned "Don't worry... nothing's broken... 'cept my entire body..." he sighed, struggling to move or get up. The beating he had just took was by far one of the worst.

Emerging from the hole in the building Cas' body had created was a mech towering over nearly everything at 8ft tall. Cas and his Padawan Yenna had spent the passed half an hour fighting against whoever was control this hulking metal of terror, tearing up the streets of Denon in the process, much to the dismay of the Jedi Knight. The Jedi duo were brought to Denon following some corpo espionage threatening to harm innocent lives. Following a tip given to him by Tess... or Xan, Cas and Yen were led to some unmarked facility disguised as a warehouse where they, drumroll please, encountered this mech. And, of course, immediately met with... resistance.

Coughing up a bit of blood, in the time the mech strode over to Cas, its thundering steps creating tremors with every movement, the Kiffar took the time to project his thoughts to his Padawan "Yen... get outta here." he continued struggling as he attempted to move his muscles. In all the life and death situations Cas had been in, things weren't looking too good for him right now, Yenna would be better off getting out of there while she still could. As far as dying went? Being taken out by a mech walker wasn't so bad. What sucked though, was that he wouldn't even get the chance to see Yenna Knighted.

Yenna Yenna

To say that things escalated quickly was an understatement. One moment the two of them were meeting with a charming neon-haired girl, sneaking around a facility and having a grand time of it all... then it all went out the window when a massive walker came at them and started tearing up the place.

As the walker came charging at Cas, a hovercraft meant to move containers flew into its legs and knocked it over. Immediately afterward a green blur bounced around and slowly entered through its deflector shield. Yenna jumped onto a leg and scurried her way up the machine, her cyan blades leaving slices in certain spots as she moved. She managed to cleave a line through the rotor of one of its rotary repeaters before the machine turned its attention on her.

The startled padawan hopped through the shield and dashed away as a series of cannon bolts followed after her in a direction away from Cas. As the walker spun around, frantically trying to find her, she landed beside her master with a happy smile. "Drinking, have you been?" she quipped through deep breaths. "Leave you, why would I?" she asked casually as she helped Cas up with the use of the Force.

A droning groan caught her attention as she looked at the walker... directly looking at them. "Move, move, move!" she stated with a rather motivated sense of urgency as she used the Force to send Cas flying in behind a bunch of debris for cover. She barely managed to clear the area before a few cluster missiles impacted right where she was a second ago. The blast sent her unceremoniously crashing down next to her master with a few new scrapes and bruises along her body. "I'm okay!" her muffled voice proclaimed enthusiastically as she laid face down behind the rubble, raising an arm into the air with a hilt in hand.

Cas stared in the face of his would-be killer and braced to become one with the Force, but an obvious someone came to his aid. Despite him telling her to leave. While Yenna crashed into the walker, and held it off with her new cyan lightsabers Cas couldn't help but grin at her improvement. Not just in her skill but also her mental state following her capture. He tried to get up and help her but to no avail, he was sore and exhausted.

He smiled when she appeared next to him "Who knew that you'd take on my worst traits?" he quipped, he felt the invisible hands of the Force lift him up to his feet and keep him steady thanks to Yenna but before he could gain his bearings, the Walker was ready to engage once more, unable to react in time the Kiffar was launched toward some debris by Yenna. Cas landed in a roll before falling on his face, rolling onto his back Cas let out a quiet "Ow." The landing wasn't the best, but it beats being dead so he wouldn't complain.

The loud of explosions caused Cas' eyes to wander in front of him, witnessing a small frame sail through the air, his eyes followed Yenna right up until she faceplanted the ground next to him. "Thank you for flying with Air Mech Walker, we hope you enjoyed journey." Cas quipped, grinning at Yenna as she held her arm up. Feeling some strength returning to his muscles and with the help of his mechno-arm, Cas sat up enough where he was still protected by cover. "New plan. Remember that maneuver we've been practicing? Should we test it out?" he asked, wiping some dirt off of his brow.

The maneuver Cas was referring to involved Yenna stationing herself on the Jedi's shoulder while he, with the aid of the Force, propelled himself into the air, mid-air the two would separate with Cas allowing himself to fall and Yenna using Cas' shoulder as a way to boost herself even higher. With both the Knight and Padawan heading in different directions, the enemy would naturally focus on the bigger target which was Cas, allowing for Yenna to get the drop on their target.

Cas transitioned into a crouch, waiting for Yenna to regain her bearings before tapping at his shoulder for her to climb on. Once she was on, Cas would proceed with the plan. Channelling the Force through him like a lightening rod, its energy surged into his legs and as he jumped, launched him several metres into the air. Igniting his lightsaber, the Kiffar signalled his Padawan "Now!" before transitioning into a front flip and allowing gravity to take him. As expected, the mech immediately focused its attention on Cas and shot off thermal detonators in his direction.

"Detonators? Really?" Cas quickly threw his arms forward and redirected their trajectory with the Force, forcing the detonators to curve and soar passed Cas blowing up behind him in epic fashion. "Y'see that Yen! I'm like an action hero!" he yelled out excitedly before landing on the floor with a forward roll.

With a grunt Yenna pushed herself up onto her feet. Shooting an annoyed glance at him, she merely shook her head at his bad joke. Looking over herself for any major injuries, she listened to his proposition. "For a while now, try that, I wanted to." she agreed as she hopped onto his shoulders.

The walker was menacing. However she had no fear in her heart. She trusted that they could beat this thing. They've encountered worse in the time they worked together. She held on as he jumped into the air then let go with a powerful jump when he gave the signal. While he drew its attention, she slowed her descent and carefully managed to sneak through its shields once more.

"A little busy, I am!" she called out to him as she ignited both lightsabers. Bringing both blades down, she carved right through its dome and then hopped down, leaving to molten lines down its body and through its legs. The walker started to topple and stumble until it finally collapsed onto the ground. Yenna hopped out of the way and watched as her work paid off. "Bring it down, we managed to!" she called out happily to her master as she extinguished her blades.

With the fight finally over with, the strain caught up with her. A groan escaped as she slowly sat down on the ground and gently rubbed at a bruise on her cheek. She also paid attention to the faint taste of blood in her mouth. "A little rough, that was." she admitted with a tired chuckle as she glanced up at Cas from her seat on a piece of debris.

Following his landing, the mech's pilot must have realised what was happening as its attention on Cas hindered. However, before the mech could react it was all over. Cas watched as his Padawan cut through the mech's dome, it must've been pretty important considering it locked up and collapsed after that. "Let's not do that. The credit goes all to you, little one." he smiled at her as he extinguished his lightsaber. While Yen took a seat on some debris, Cas stepped closer to the fallen mech to examine it - on its foot were some letters.

Kilaeon Industries

Raising an eyebrow "Kilaeon Industries? Hmm. Maybe Xan'd wanna look into this--" Cas abruptly stopped when the sound of lock mechanisms turning caught his attention. Glancing toward the fallen mech, Cas readied himself as he watched a scrawny Near-Human individual emerge from the mech walker. Sensing no immediate danger, nor did the pilot look paticularly intimidating, Cas opted to not attack. What came from the pilot was a nasally, high-pitched whiny voice "Gnaaah! Stay away from me, Jedi Knights! My lillipution magnitude cannot endure your derisive incursions!" Cas glanced at Yenna with a raised brow, confused, having no way of intepreting what the pilot just said "Riiiiight, save the big words for your defence." Cas countered, approaching the meagre pilot and removing him from the cockpit rather easily.

********
It didn't take long for the authorities to arrive, apprehend the pilot and confiscate the mech. Cas would give a few statements before the authorities were on their way, after they left, Cas briefly contacted Xan and notifed her that the mech seemed to belong to a company called Kilaeon Industries and that she may be interested. Considering she was dedicated to taking down Denon's corporate overlords. A noble cause, something Cas would have likely joined if the Jedi hadn't found him first. With that over with, he returned his attention to Yenna.

Smirking, he stretched his shoulder before arching his back and stretching that out too "So, what do you wanna do now? Hang out? Go home? Your call." Cas asked in a pained tone. Whatever she chose, the two earned themselves a well-deserved break after taking a nasty beating like that from a scrawny loser in a metal suit. Personally? He was down for some kind of deep tissue massage. Force knows he needed it.

Yenna Yenna

Upon hearing her master's praise, Yenna beamed a bright and toothy, somewhat bloodied, grin with a glimmer in her eyes. No lives were harmed by her, as far as she knew, and their mission was a success. She figured they'd deserve a break once everything was wrapped up.

She nursed her wounds while Cas inspected the walker, however she was right back on her feet and by his side when the walker opened up to reveal a rather curious being inside. Yenna merely glanced up at Cas with confusion as the little life form rambled on with words that didn't make a lick of sense to her. "You listen to him, I would suggest." she commented idly as she returned to her seat.

The authorities finally arrived and they both gave their statements. Yenna had a suspicion that nothing would come of it, but that wasn't their problem at the moment. Unless their help was requested further, they had completed their mission.

Glancing up at Cas as he approached, Yenna pondered over his question. "Some nice hotels, I heard this planet has. Visit a spa too, I think we can. Nice right now, a massage will be." she commented as she ran a little hand over her face. "A warm bath too." she continued with a soft chuckle.

Rising from her seat, she walked over to him and wrapped and arm around his leg. "Some time together, I'd like us to spend. Around the corner, my knighthood is. For old time's sake, spend this little time with my Master, I'd like to." she admitted softly as she looked up to him with a warm smile.

She hopped onto his shoulders and got comfortable as she waited for him to take them to their speeder. Hopefully it wasn't damaged in the fighting. While they walked, she pulled out her surprisingly unscathed datapad and started browsing the holonet. "A nice hotel, I found for us. In-house spa, too. For an evening or two, cover the price, I can." she offered as she glanced down at him. It would drain pretty much all her savings that she put away since she stopped drinking, but to her it was worth it. These last few moments they had together as master and apprentice was something she wanted to cherish while she could.

It was like she'd read his mind, or picked up on his feelings which, in hindsight, made a lot of sense considering she was Force-sensitive. Cas' head fell backward as he imagined a euphoric body massage, his eyelids semi-open and his mouth slightly agape in a dazed smile "Aw man, a massage could put me to sleep for at least a year, right now." he sighed happily, insinutating that he was in agreement to go to a fancy schmancy hotel and get pampered.

Still staring toward the night's sky, he felt something small and light wrap around his leg. Glancing down at Yenna, Cas smiled at what she had to say before commenting on her incoming Knighthood "I never thought I'd see the day." the Kiffar chuckled before elaborating "With me as your Master? It's no surprise you aren't dead or apprenticed to someone else." he teased. In all seriousness, Yenna was just a Jedi who was built differently - many of her qualities he valued, such as her kindheartedness as well as her gumption and courage. Very much like himself when he was a Padawan. Her achievments were her own, Cas was simply a guiding and supportive force. He only wished she saw what Cas sees within herself.

Once she was on his shoulders, he made his way out of the power plant and toward their, hopefully, untarnished speeder. With every step the pain and soreness began to sneakily creep in, Cas' adrenaline from the fight was clearly wearing down and his need for relaxation became more apparent. During the walk to the speeder, Yenna offered to pay for the hotel which Cas promptly shut down by raising his hand "Yeah, no. We'll go halves." Finally ending up at their speed, it thankfully survived the chaos from earlier. Cas waited for Yen to hop into the passenger seat before entering himself

Starting up the speeder, Cas turned to face Yen as he took control of the steering wheel "So, what're the coordinates to the hotel?" after the coordinates were given, the Kiffar flew in the direction of the hotel. With one hand on the wheel, Cas' cybernetic arm hung, relaxed outside the window and let out a sigh of relief "Aw, man! I cannot wait to just... relax." Cas rejoiced as the wind hit his face, now with the opportunity to gather his thoughts it truly hit him that Yenna's Knighting was soon. He couldn't be more proud of her, but, couldn't help but feel bittersweet - being Yen's Master for the past few years took on a huge part of his life and to see this chapter end didn't feel real. Eyes still focused on the road, Cas pondered aloud "So, figure out what you wanna do when you're Knighted? Taking on a Padawan of your own? Go solo for a bit? Galaxy's your oyster, kiddo."

Yenna Yenna

She was a bit taken back when he insisted on splitting the bill. Not that she didn't expect it, but she really wanted to spoil him for all the time she got on his nerves. But she knew that she wouldn't be able to talk him out of it. "If sure, you are..." she muttered, glancing down at him.

In the speeder, she selected the location for the hotel then slumped back and smiled at his comment. "Some time to relax, I think we earned." she quipped, glancing up at him. She let out a giggle when he asked about her first order of business, staring out the window. "First, ask for my own ship, I'm going to. Then, for my own padawan, maybe ask. Nervous about it, I am. But... very well, you taught me. For a better master, I couldn't ask." she explained calmly, enjoying the view of the neon lights zipping past them. "Weird it feels. You as a master, to not have. Hopefully... to my own padawan, such a good master I can be." her tone was calm and warm. A pang of sadness plagued her mind, but she knew that it wouldn't be the last time she saw him. There would still be many more missions. She knew their paths would always cross again.

She sat in silence for the rest of the trip, occasionally smiling up at him and simply enjoying the moment. When they finally arrived, she hopped out alongside him and gracefully landed on his shoulders. She still contemplated whether or not she needed to tell him that she refused to get a hoverchair to continue tagging along like this. Perhaps that secret could stay with her until a while later.

"The first order of business, what is? Bath and sleep? Or massage?" she asked him.

Cas listened to Yenna's plans as he continued to focus on the skylane, a grin crept on his lips "Heh, yeah. I was terrified too, annoyed that after finally earning some freedom I was saddled with a Padawan. Uh, no offence. But... it's all worth it in the end, trust me." Yenna's comment regarding being unable to ask for a better master was appreciated, he didn't say anything but he smiled to himself and let out a small, appreciative, snicker through his nose. "You will, Yen. I don't doubt that for a second." Cas assured Yenna, briefly throwing her a glance and following it up with a soft smile of reassurance. She would be fine, he felt it in his bones - Cas knew that whatever she did, she'd go on to make him proud.

As per usual, Cas was lost in his thoughts during his quiet moments - something he preferred not to be in. Thankfully, it wasn't a long journey before they reached the hotel Yenna had scouted out. Exiting the speeder and making his way toward the hotel's entrance, he cast Yenna a sideways glance following her question "Massage. Definitley. Although, the massage will probably transition into sleep if the masseuse is good enough." he answered, hoping his last statement would become reality.

Entering inside the hotel, he noticed how fancy everything was - no doubt this place was owned by one of the corpos, Xan and her group has a vendetta against. He almost felt guilty for spending credits here, but right now pain and soreness outvoted his morals. Making his way to the front desk, Cas was met with one of the most plastered on smiles he had ever bore witness to from a young Zeltron woman. It was what it was, fake smiles and over-the-top chirpiness came with that kind of job.

"Hi! Welcome! How may we be of service today?" the Zeltron girl greeted the pair in a put-on high pitched tone. Taken aback slightly, Cas answered awkwardly "Uh, yeah. My pal and I would like to rent two of your rooms for the night?" after a few minutes of giving details over as well as a bit of flirting between Cas and the Zeltron, they were finally provided their rooms as well as everything else that came with renting the hotel's services.

Following the two Jedi splitting off into their rooms, Cas would take a few minutes to book their massage sessions. With that done and over with, Cas made his way over to Yenna's room and knocked on her door "Ready to get your massage on?" he asked with an excited tone.

Yenna Yenna

Cas mentioned his issues that he had with taking her on in the beginning, which was something she remembered quite well. With a knowing smile she glanced at him. "Those days, I remember very well. My own frustrations, I had too. More time with Tess than me, you spent. In the beginning, for being so annoying, partially a reason that was." she admitted to him. "Luckily, out of that phase we both got." she continued.

Yenna chuckled at his comment, finding it hard to argue with his logic. From the look of things, the place wasn't bad at all. However they were competing with a very expensive name if she had to compare them with the people Adrian took them to.

Upon approaching the reception, they were greeted with a rather depressing sight. Yenna watched in silence as Cas talked to the Zeltron girl and had to keep her laugh back more than once. At least the girl's mood started to see genuine but Yenna always found it hard to tell with Zeltrons. "Pheromones, you know Zeltrons have, right?" she spoke telepathically as they walked away. "Not to fall under her spell, careful you must be." she teased him with a smirk.

They got to their rooms and Yenna wasted no time in making herself comfortable on the comically oversized bed. At least comfort was top grade for her. Sge had just finished washing the blood from her mouth and face when he came knocking. She opened the door with a bright smile and hopped onto his shoulders. "Ask twice, no need to." she quipped as she looked down at him.

The parlour looked great. Maybe not as good as the place on Naboo but it was a hard argument to make. The treatment was also quite similar and soon the little green Jedi was practically melting away in the large bath. "Float face down, if I, wake me up please." she giggled as she floated around on the water. She had almost fallen asleep already when it was time for the rest of the treatment... where she, in fact, did fall asleep.

By the time they were done, she was ready to melt away in her comically large bed. "In the morning, plan our activities we can." she grumbled as she stood draped over his head on the way back to their rooms.

Cadere Cadere

Cas grinned at Yenna's little telepathic message "I knew that. I just think it's flattering when a Zeltron uses their pheromone manipulation on me." glancing back at the lady at the front desk, he sent her one final sultry wave and a wink before continuing "Makes a guy feel wanted. Plus, the feeling's kinda euphoric - like being high on spice but... less damaging to your health." he joked.

Later on, after Yenna had opened the door and took solace on his shoulder he swivelled around and began the walk to the parlor. After they arrived there and Yen went off to relax in the large bath, Cas wasted no time and immediately de-robed himself revealing nothing but shorts and approached the massage bed, excitedly laying on top of it, eager for his stress and pain to be alleviated
"Yeah, I got you" the Kiffar assured Yenna. Once the massage started Cas fell silent, not because he didn't enjoy it but quite the opposite, the soft hands of the masseuse caressing his body and relieving the tension in his tight muscles was so euphoric he couldn't even make a sound. Right now and throughout the massage, Cas was in a state of bliss.

On the way back to their room, Yen mentioned on planning to do more things in the morning
"Oh, you really really wanna spend time together?" he asked rhetorically, wrapping two fingers around his chin and displaying deep thought. After a few seconds of deliberation he nodded in agreement "Alright, cool. Let's see if we can't do something tomorrow."

With that, Cas stopped in front of Yen's room and bid her goodnight before entering his own. Instantly, Cas propped himself onto the bed - plopping face first onto his pillow. Once his whole body caught up with his face, the Kiffar felt he was about to sink into the mattress and it was perfect, within seconds his eyes slowly closed and he fell soundly asleep.

The next morning, Cas woke up feeling completely refreshed - although his injuries were still very much there, it didn't matter. Stretching and yawning, he proceeded to get out of bed and went on with his morning routine before getting dressed into his Jedi attire. Stretching once again, he gathered all of his things before leaving his hotel room. Strolling to Yen's room, he knocked on her door
"Yen? You up? Let's get food, I got some ideas."

Yenna Yenna

Yen was almost sad to leave the parlor, but luckily Cas was game to do more stuff. She giggled at his comment as she made herself comfortable over his head. "Of course." she confirmed. "Do as well, something I want to. But, tomorrow's problem, that is." she commented as he took her bacl to her room. Once there, she wasted no time in getting ready for bed and passed out almost immediately as soon as her head hit her pillow.

The next morning she was snoring away until Cas knocked on her door. Groggily she got up, adjusted her sleeping shirt and opened the door. Wiping sleep and hair out of her eyes, she glanced up at him. "Already?" she mumbled with a long and toothy yawn. "A minute, give me. Make yourself comfortable, you can." she grumbled as she left the door open for him.

"A minute" turned into almost half an hour with Yen nearly falling asleep again in the shower. When she did finally emerge from the bathroom, dressed and ready for the day -aside from her hair which still looked like an explosion in a mattress factory- she still looked ready to pass out. "Coffee..." she groaned as she clambered up onto his shoulder and simply draped herself over it like a sack of potatoes.

She fell asleep again and only woke up when the smell of breakfast and coffee hit her nose. After downing a mug and ordering another, she managed to get some life back into her. "Better, I feel now. In mind, what did you have?" she asked him as she sipped at her second mug of coffee.

Cadere Cadere

Cas entered the suite and promptly took a seat on the edge of Yenna's bed. As he waited... and waited... and waited. The Jedi Knight begun to grow increasingly impatience as he started to fidget around uncontrollably sat on her bed. Tapping his feet, biting his nails, and patting his thighs, he was very crude with his growing impatience.

"How long is this going to--!" Cas growled in annoyance, before ultimately being cut off once his Padawan emerged from the bathroom. At the mention of coffee, Cas needn't hear anything more and simply extended his arm and allowed the green alien to climb onto his shoulder. Needless to say, Yenna would be the only one needing coffee as her master was currently a bundle of energy, ready to detonate.

Once they were downstairs, Cas ordered himself and Yenna breakfast with the addition of coffee for his still exhausted apprentice. With the arrival of breakfast, Cas consumed his breakfast rapidly, coming off as a black hole... or snack hole in this instance. When Yen asked him about what plans he had, Cas' attack on his food stopped abruptly, the arm which held the fork hovered in the air as the food upon it was inches away from his mouth. For a brief second, the Jedi placed his fork down and leaned both arms on the table.

"I'll level with you. I forgot. In the eternity it took for you to get dressed, my growing jittery-ness purged the ideas I had." he quipped, sending her a smirk "So, I'll let you take the reigns today."

Yenna Yenna

A guilty chuckle escaped Yenna as she listened to her master. "Sorry." she muttered, taking another sip of coffee. "But... mentioned it, now that you..." she muttered as she sat back and dug into her breakfast. She was caught a bit off guard. Apart from the one thing she wanted to do, she wasn't sure what else to do.

With her breakfast done, she sat back and sipped at her mug of caf, her golden eyes staring off into a direction as she pondered on what to do.

"A bunch of attractions, I know this planet has. Amusement park, clubs... easy targets for pickpockets, these places are..." she thought aloud with another loud slurp. "Got it. Amusement park first. Afterwards, a movie maybe." she suggested with an enthusiastic grin. "With the challenges, some easy wins we can have." she snickered as she finished her caf.

"Open, as long as this evening is. Something nice, planned for us, I have." she muttered as she patted her outfit down. After paying for the meals she hopped back on his shoulders as they headed out. "To join us, ask your friend, why don't you?" she suggested, however regret quickly cropped up after she said it.

"On second thought... share today with someone else, I'd prefer not to." she spoke with discomfort in her voice. "Rude, I don't want to be... but special, today is. Next time, come along, she can." she tried to amend the situation, hoping that Cas understood where she was coming from.

As he listened to her explain, Cas took the opportunity to continue eating... although, there wasn't that much left in all honesty. He nodded along with the suggestions Yenna presented before allowing his Padawan to slyly pay once they'd finished breakfast.

Cas flashed the Zeltron at the front desk one last glance before exiting through the front doors. The fresh air was a nice feeling to receive the moment he stepped onto the sidewalk, at the mention of Tess, his pupils shrank. He did not need Yenna meeting his ex, that'd just give the Padawan more teasing ammunition. Surprisingly though, she quickly backtracked on her suggestion of getting Tess involved which earned her a snicker.

"Want me all to yourself, huh? I get it, I am quite the catch." he teased but returning to a quasi serious state, he shrugged "Whatever, if that's what you want. I did say you were taking the reigns today." showing that he wasn't bothered about Yen's choice, honestly, it would have been awkward with her there anyway. Ambling toward their rented speeder, Cas allowed Yen to hop off of his shoulder before entering the driver's seat. Starting the engine, he hooked his fingers to his chin and deliberated "Now where's this amusement park at?" he asked in a curious tone.

Yenna Yenna

Yenna smirked at his quip, glancing down at him. "For myself, a tall and headstrong man, I always wanted." she joked as she gave a tug on one of his dreads. He got more serious again as Yenna relaxed on his shoulders. "So bad, it won't be. So glum, don't sound." she quipped with a smile as she hopped off his shoulders and into the passenger seat.

As Cas asked about the address, Yenna produced a datapad which would likely look very familiar to Cas. "There we go." she muttered as she selected the location. "A message you have, by the way." she continued as she handed him bacl his datapad with a toothy grin. She had to pull that stunt one last time.

Once they were off, she was practically hopping up and down like a little kid. "Get away with discounts, we can. To pass as a kid, small enough I am." she suggested as she glanced up at him. "For identification, as long as they don't ask." she shrugged.

When they arrived, she was out of the speeder and on the ground in a green flash. "Come on!" she called out to him as she hopped onto his shoulder and pointed to the ticket booth. The park was a fantastic blend of a typical amusement park and Denon's neon skyline. Bright signs and holograms adorned the stalls and rides. Some of the names made her giggle, such as "whack-a-corpo" and the "neon express". The latter drew her attention as she pointed to the ride. However as they got closer, Yenna's heart sank as she saw the height restriction. "Adorable enough to convince them, do you think I am?" she asked with a nervous chuckle as she watched the guy standing by the entry.

"Oh." he snatched his datapad back "So you're that kind of comedian." Cas stated without elaboration, implying this running gag had been used half to death. Feeling this way mainly because he was the butt of the joke, but he'd never admit that to his Padawan. Nonetheless, Cas didn't bother to check the message, as of right now it was his and Yen's time.

Following the directions displayed on the datapad, Yenna's enthusiasm was infectious which caused him to chuckle every few moments at Yenna's child-like wonder. "Are you sure you're 150? The way you're acting, I'd have pegged you for a 99 year old." he teased, having no actual indication of the biology of Yen's species. When they were fifty they were still infants, he wondered how old his Padawan was in... regular years... was she, like, an adolescent still? But she drunk alcohol still. It was strange to say the least. Cas remained silent for the journey, mainly observing the neon flashing lights and impressive architecture they passed.

After arriving, Yen's excitement refused to dissipate, she rushed him like an over-excited child and it was endearing to say. "Alright, alright, can I get out first?" he snickered as he opened the speeder's door and stepped out. With Yenna, he approached the ticket booth and paid for their tickets. The inside of the amusement park was a sight to behold, he hadn't been to many in his life, from training in his childhood and all the adventures he had as a Jedi, it didn't leave much time for this kind of down time. However, he did remember a particular happy memory on Kiffu, it was one of his and Ciara's days off from their training regiment and their parents decided to treat them with a day to the amusement park. It was one of the rare times he and Ciara actually got to feel like children.

His smile at the memory quickly fell when he felt the Padawan's excitement die down within the Force. Without a word, his eyes turned to her as he waited for her to say what was bothering her. Her issue earned her a teasing smirk "Yeah right, just being in my presence alone makes any person go down five points on the looks scale. You're a low Five right now." he teased before stopping in place. Cas sighed, he had a plan but he didn't like it, just this one time he'd bend the rules for his little green friend. "Alright, well, I suppose we can Mind Trick one of these workers." Cas begrudgingly proposed but not before interjecting with a raised finger, pointed at Yenna "But only this once, alright? Don't go making a habit out of it, or I'll push back your Knight Trials by a decade."
