- You've Got a Friend in Me: Programmed with an outgoing, abundantly friendly personality, similar in many aspects to household pets throughout the galaxy, the K-4 Unit was designed to be the perfect assistant for those who may often work or travel alone both technically and emotionally. Quick to respond to negative moods, or offer its company when appropriate, many early-adopters of the product reported becoming attached to their droids.
- Lock Pick? What's That?: Beneath this little droid's quirky and almost adorable exterior lies a highly advanced piece of technological hardware. Carrying on the galactic trend of multipurpose utility droids like the Astromech-series, the K-4 Unit is equipped with both a physical multitool extension, enabling it to perform a wide variety of precise technical and engineering tasks as well as an on-board suite of splicing and electronic countermeasure systems.
- K-4 to a Blaster Fight: If you're in the market for a battle droid then you're looking in the wrong direction. The K-4 Mobile Assistant Droid was designed with the civilian market in mind, intended to assist everyone from researchers to medical personnel, engineers and even pilots. With no inbuilt armaments of any kind, the K-4 is unable to defend itself or its owner from any potential hostilities. While Fukashi Electric would argue it is unnecessary, with a galaxy as dangerous as this one you never can know.
- Handle With Care: An easy to assume disadvantage given the quantity of delicate technological systems contained within its small titanium shell, the K-4 Unit is quite a fragile droid due to its small size and sophisticated internal electronics. Though not so fragile as to be in danger of breaking due to ordinary household or travel-related accidents, in the galaxy's harsher planetary environments, such as those experienced by explorers, researchers, frontiersmen and the like, care should be taken with the little K-4.
- The K-4 Mobile Assistant Droid is a bipedal exploration and companion droid developed by the Fukashi Robotics division of Fukashi Electric, a subsidiary of GalactiCom Holocommunications which itself is a subsidiary of the wider NAKAIOMA Group. Ordered and produced as part of Fukashi Electric's new line-up of civilian droids, the K-4 Unit was designed to be the perfect assistant droid for any array of civil and private operations, able to traverse all forms of conventional terrain and utilize its small size to fit into places their owner would otherwise be unable to. A small, primarily box-shaped droid, some of the droid's notable external features include the two small antennas on the back of its head (these extend from the miniture hardened comlink located within the droid's onboard communications suite) two aural sensors at each side of its head to acquire and process local sounds, two large visual modules (each responsible for acquiring and processing visual information for different sensor systems inside the droid) and a pair of mini-repulsorlift modules located on the bottom of its feet, to enable high jumps and short periods of floating.
