Description: Since it was decided by Lierra and her superiors to finally place the successful G1E-Enforcer on a more mass-scale production, she had begun a new line of humanoid-like droids. Renamed for practical purposes, the "K1S" series showed no sign of stopping any time soon, both improving company profits and proving additional defenses to corporate agents in any given area. However, as leadership of Emeritus changed from one head to the next, its decline soon began to show. Before she knew it, Lierra found herself in the middle of the corporation's collapse; a shell of its former self, it showed no signs of communication as to warn her of any changes to come. As jobs were removed and valuable assets seemingly disappeared altogether, she found herself virtually disconnected.
However, without the will or knowledge to do so, Lierra remained within the comfort and safety of factory walls. Aware of the impending problems she would face and the need to seek other options, Lierra was in a state of denial. Slight profits from droid sales would keep her independent compound afloat, at least for a time. So it was decided to continue with the line, leading to the creation of the versatile "K1S-Vanguard".
Strengths: Similar to its predecessors, it used the same body shape as that of the Enforcer, with additional duranium plating placed surrounding the chest and sides of the lower limbs. Flexibility of the limbs and joints through ball point swivels was emphasized throughout the project, designed to hopefully allow a much more agile warrior in the art of close combat. Smaller parts of the droid could even turn on their sides, allowing the head, hands and feet to turn a full 360 degrees if necessary. For added defense, should the hands of the droid be cut off at any time, a second set would deploy, readily awaiting to be ejected if needed. During combat, the Vanguards may attempt to group up and attack single enemies at a time, or separate and spread themselves across multiplie targets at a time.
Weaknesses: Although designed as a much more intimidating, close quarters defender, many standard limitations still apply to the Vanguard. Although able to pick up a rifle if no other weapon remains nearby, their primary focus as a melee warrior will show, with inaccuracy and inconsistency at any fighting from a distance. Should an opponent manage to disarm the droid or slice through crucial limbs, shutdown will be imminent. Finally, similar to the Enforcer, with no given orders for a prolonged period of time (such as if the commander were to leave the area for a while or other situations) and no other superiors were instated, the droids might be rendered useless and wander in confusion until further notice.
