• Variable Platform: The K-Class speederbike makes use of a modular weapon system. Rather than weapon hard points built into the speederbike itself, it had external mounts capable of being removed and replaced with different types of weapons. This allows the K-Class speederbike to be fitted for several different mission profiles and provide a flexible tool for units in the field.
• Shielding: The K-Class speederbike makes use of an internal deflector shield projected a meter around the craft in a dome shape. This shield can be directed and controlled by the speederbike pilot, allowing them to focus all shielding to one side of the speederbike for added protection. The speederbike also makes use of a thin chromium coating, giving it moderate deflection capabilities for small arms fire.
• Stealth: The K-Class speederbike comes a sensor jammer unit. The sensor jammer has an effective range of two hundred meters, allowing the speederbike to approach targets with minimal risk of detection.

• Speed: While the K-Class speederbike is capable of short bursts of speed, it is incapable of maintaining a high velocity for extended periods of time. Its heavy frame, weighed down by the chromium coating and extensive internal systems slows the speederbike down, keeping it at moderate speeds for a majority of the time.
• Firing Speed: While the K-Class makes use of various weapons, the missile launcher proves to be a problematic loadout for the K-Class. To properly aim and fire the weapon without risking a misfire or the missile striking the speederbike itself, the craft has to be slowed to a near standstill, leaving it and its pilot extremely vulnerable.
• Power Drain: While a highly advanced craft, the K-Class is unable to operate its defensive features for extended periods of time. Two separate power generators are placed within the speederbike, one to maintain the speederbike itself, and the second to power the cloaking device and shield generator. This second generator has a power reserve of one hour when at maximum output, limited operational time for anything but the most standard functions.

The K-Class speederbike is the culmination of several different projects being compiled into a single final product. Originally, the Royal Defense Force put in a contract for a reconnaissance speederbike, a light assault platform and espionage vehicle. The necessities of the Royal Naboo Republic's limited resources forced the designers of these different projects to pool their resources together, and the K-Class was born.

The K2-Class is a versatile vehicle capable of fulfilling multiple mission profiles as required of it with minimal retrofitting. In its standard loadout with laser cannon mounts, it is a reliable recon vehicle and light attack platform. With its missile launcher loadout, it is a mobile anti-vehicle attack craft as well as a threat to stationary enemy positions. When fitted with an arc emitter, it is capable of disrupting enemy positions and equipment, creating openings for other K-Class of different loadouts to advance, or create a deadzone allowing Royal Naboo Republic ground forces to advance and exploit it.

Prohibitively expensive to produce, the K-Class has not entered wide scale production or deployment within the Naboo armed forces, and is instead reserved for elite units who receive extensive training to ensure they, and their prized vehicles, make it back to friendly lines.
