STRENGTHS AND WEAKNESSES:​

Kael is a very carefree, active, fun-loving individual. His optimistic outlook on life allows him to persevere through the worst and provides him a zany, quirky charm – however this comes with a certain naivety, which accompanied by his lack of experience means he doesn’t always make the best decisions.

To say the least, Kael is a very emotional person – he has a strong sense of moral obligation to those close to him but is also easily manipulated into doing actions, through the belief that he is doing things for the ‘greater good’. There is indeed a flip side to his friendly demeanour and he is very prone to overreacting - when angered he may act irrationally as he feels that only present events matter. In a way, he is very lacking in foresight. He has a rather short attention span, but is capable of hyper focusing on the things that matter to him – as a result of this he is less capable of planning ahead and prefers to act on instinct.

APPEARANCE:​

Kael has a fair complexion, is quite tall at 5 feet 9 inches and has a swimmer’s physique. He has an air of roguish handsomeness about him - with relatively short but wavy, auburn hair that contrasts with his greeny hazel eyes and a strong jaw line, Kael would be quite the lady killer... if he wasn’t so unaware of any advances made to him.​

BIOGRAPHY:​

Born within the ecumenopolis of Denon, Kael was abandoned on the streets at a young age as his parents had no money to support a family. After being left on the streets, he was adopted and raised by a group of sea urchins and Kael soon adjusted to this cruel lifestyle, begging, stealing from shops and picking pockets in order to survive. He had made many friends from his ragtag group of orphans, but out of all of them, he was closest to a boy called Neris. Neris was like a big brother to him; he had raised Kael from a young age, taught him how to trick, con and steal from people and most importantly watched his back throughout their time together. Therefore, it was a surprise when Neris had betrayed Kael in their young teenage years, by attempting to sell him off to some slave traders in exchange for his own life.​

On the day of the betrayal, the two had set off - as usual - to act out the usual routine. Kael (for example) would find a vulnerable, but rich looking man or woman and rob them on that spot of whatever valuables they had, before running off to an alleyway. At that point, Neris would run over and announce that he would help them, before pursuing and acting out a fight. From that, the latter boy would return said valuables, and hopefully get a reward (This usually worked 2/5 times).​

On this unfortunate day, Neris had made the mistake of targeting a chagrian slave trader - the plan continued as usual, until he was pursued along the alleyway, and a blaster was pulled on him. Coming to his rescue, Kael attempted to diffuse the situation, but was unsuccessful and the rest of the slavers had already arrived - in the heat of the moment, Neris had begged for his life to be spared in exchange for what he once viewed as his younger brother. The traders saw a fair point at that, and quickly overpowered and kidnapped the young boy, before mercilessly killing Neris.​

Waking up on the slavers ship, feeling betrayed and confused, Kael swore to himself he would never betray the trust of those who relied on him. Brought to Tatooine in order to be sold at a slave fair on the desert world, it appeared he was doomed to live a life of oppression. Fortunately for him, the ship was soon intercepted by a passing Jedi. He was rescued, and was subsequently placed within care at the Lightwind Orphanage in Bestine. This stroke of luck provided him the chance to live a somewhat happy few years, before he set out to do his own thing.​

Now Kael is 20, and in search of his destiny. He intends to buy a ship, but has no money as of yet for one.​
