STRENGTHS

• Straight Outta Chaldea: "Gerda" is a Bamarri, meaning that her consciousness was created when lightning struck Chaldean marble. While there is some debate over whether her kind can technically be classified as Force Entities or if they're something else entirely, she is quite strong in the Force and its usage comes very easily to her. Her current body is a borrowed form; she doesn't need to eat or sleep to survive and can heal most wounds faster than a typical human.
• Finfolk: The body she is currently using was one of the Finfolk, a subculture on Chaldea which wears alchemized diving suits called Atargatis Skins in order to live underwater. Long story short: Gerda is a mermaid, though she can walk around on land simply by removing the Skin.

WEAKNESSES

• Return to the Sea: A consequence of the alchemized nature of the Atargatis Skins is that they are highly addictive, requiring the wearer to don them on a regular basis. Going for long periods of time without wearing the Skin will affect Gerda psychologically, making her depressed and despondent.
• Ignorance is Not Bliss: Gerda only found out recently that there was a whole galaxy beyond her homeworld. Needless to say, she is quite naive and could be easily misled, tricked, or taken advantage of.

STRENGTHS

• Shapeshifter: While not as elastic as a Shi'ido, Doppelgangers are capable of shapeshifting within reason. Their abilities are only truly limited by their mass.
• Superhuman: Sort of. Doppelgangers are exceptionally fast and strong, with quick reflexes, but then so is half of Chaos. Kai can also regenerate from most wounds very quickly; this is an ability which is further augmented by his Bamarri nature.

WEAKNESSES

• Mind-Eating Sithspawn: Released into the wild shortly after his "birth" by the Sith alchemist who created him for chits and giggles, Kai quickly discovered his ability to consume the thoughts and memories of other beings... and swiftly fell prey to its addictiveness. It's rare that he totally loses control and devours someone's entire identity and consciousness, but it has happened before. More than once, in fact.
• The Kid: Despite his rampant consumption of other people's thoughts and memories, Kai still has the emotional maturity of a child. His grasp of concepts like morality and ethics is quite limited, for instance, and while he is deeply afraid of others out of habit, he will quickly latch onto whoever seems friendly.
• Electricity: Ironically, despite having been born from lightning, Kai's new form has a weakness to electricity, which can impede his ability to shapeshift among other things.

A Chaldean Tale (short story) - For the first time in centuries, two Bamarri appear together in a town square on Chaldea. They are swiftly intercepted by a Sith Lord, Messala, who destroys one of them and kidnaps the other, taking it with him to Dahrtag.
Nobody's Fool - In a lab on Dahrtag, Messala experiments on the captured Bamarri (which he names Kai) placing it in the body of a Sith Doppelganger. Kai escapes from the lab.
The Mermaid of Nezamiyeh - The body of a young woman named Gerda Merrick is found washed up on the shore, apparently suffering memory loss. It is eventually discovered that Gerda drowned - and her body has been taken over by the Bamarri that was destroyed, now desperate to find her kidnapped companion.
Curse of Sycorax - On Dahrtag, there have been reports of a strange monster lurking in the wilderness. Able to shapeshift, it preys upon livestock and devours the minds of the locals. Amelia Ardal, the Voivode of Dahrtag, hires two men to hunt the creature down and capture it. One of them, the Jedi Knight Dagon Kaze, discovers the monster is a newborn trapped in a foreign Sithspawn body. He insists upon investigating the matter further.
The Modern Prometheus - Dagon travels to Messala's laboratory, finding that Messala has been arrested and imprisoned. Kai shapeshifts into Dagon, idk what happens next because it hasn't been written yet.
