BIOGRAPHY:
As a young girl being born on the gang war torn world of Nar Shaddaa to a couple of death stick junkies Kaia was abandoned at an extremely young age as her parents viewed her as nothing but an expense that would stop them from getting their fix. From there she had to learn to take care of herself, she would steal what she needed but she always felt bad for it. She just didn’t have any choice.
The young girl’s life change when she was 8 years old, she was caught in the middle of a fire fight between what she assumed was rival gangs, however she was partially correct, it involved a gang and a small squad from the confederacy. At the end of the fight an explosion occurred when a thermal detonator from the gangs stockpile had blown up causing a chain reaction.
Kaia was caught on the edge of the blast radius and most of the debris had missed the small girl, however the shockwave had caught her causing massive amounts of damage to her eardrums causing her to become permanently deaf. Upon discovering her the squad from the Confederacy was split on what to do, the first being [member="Isley Verd"], he did not want to stop from the mission to retrieve the small girl however it was when [member="Safira Varad"], stepped in that they agreed to take the girl with them.
They took the girl in and for the first few months she was determined to earn her keep. After being given a hearing aid that was faulty on most accounts the small girl would help around the house where she could, cooking and helping clean. It wasn’t very long before the couple decided that they were going to formally adopt the girl.
It was at this time that her dad began her Mandalorian training. It was on her 16th birthday that she was gifted a jetpack like the one that her dad wore on a daily basis.

- World of silence: Being caught nearby an explosion when she was only a small girl both of her ear drums were permanently damaged causing her to no longer have the ability to hear this hindered her more than anyone who was born deaf because she had already learned to speak and understand others so not having this is very detrimental
- Who turned out the lights: Being a Hapan the girl is very nearly blind after dark.
