-Also due to being inorganic few, if any, would have any clue what to do if he was broken if it didn't simply kill him.
-Due to such a small size, without being inside a body, he could easily be moved or carried or even outright thrown.
-Mostly reliant on the droid body sensors in order to interact with his environment. His force training can help but does not provide the same results.
-Cannot or has too much difficulty preforming some force abilities. He especially has trouble with things like force healing or manipulating animals.
APPEARANCE:
Kaiburr looks much like any Shard would, a crystal of rather small size being under a foot tall. However due to the natural inability for a Shard to move on their own, Kaiburr was put inside of a droid body which allows him to sense the world around him more like others do and interact with it better.
BIOGRAPHY:
Kaiburr was one of a group of Shard that had been accidentally transferred to Dorin many decades or centuries before they were rediscovered. A group of the Baran Do would come to the site feeling drawn there by the force. And would come to discover the species that had become planted there in a manner of speaking. Some of them would ultimately be helped in gaining droid bodies using primarily protocol droid chassis. At the time, Kaiburr was the only to show force sensitivity. He too would manage to get a droid body, however was also offered the chance to learn about the force with the Baran Do. An option he took to fairly quickly.
Kaiburr’s patience he mainly retained, though he was certainly more willing to act now that he was able to perceive the world around him. His curiosity and willingness to learn remained for a long time and he studied happily underneath the Sages, learning many things over the time in which he had with them. He came to follow a few of them around often rather than staying exclusively at the Baran Do Temple, wonderful as he found it. He also came to gain a great interest in a certain type of crystal that he had discovered was used by another member, the storm-crystal. However, he realized that he was not prepared to take on something like that...not yet. But someday he may wish to do so.
However, after years and years of patiently following and learning from them. He came to believe he would be called off world. And that the force would have to guide him. He discussed it with other members before being allowed to take a ship, and with confirmation that he could return at any time, not that it was needed. The Sages were kind, even to complete outsiders.
And the force would eventually come to lead him to Naboo.
