Born sometime before Operation Hammerfall within the Vanquo system , Kaila Irons was born under the name Kaila Solus . Her history prior to Sith Imperial Acquisition is murky at best, with official reports claiming that she wounded when Mandalorian pirates attacked her ship somewhere on the borders of occupied Mandalorian space, this being prior to successful Mandalorian rebellion against the Sith Empire during the mid 800s ABY period. These reports further claim that the subject suffered a severe brain injury, resulting in equally severe amnesia, for which she was transported to an imperial military hospital on Krownest and treated by medics who discovered her force sensitivity, after which the subject was approached by agents of the Kainate and offered an employment.
Unofficially however, there were no pirates, and there was no brain injury.
Prior to the incident, Kaila Solus was first acquired by the Sith Imperial Military via the Treaty of Vanquo , which saw 504,000 Mandalorian slaves freed from slavery on Imperial occupied worlds in exchange for a hefty payout, and in accordance with Article V of the Treaty which states:
- "Clan Solus of Vanquo must volunteer a tribute of 1/5th of its upper youth (15-22) to serve as auxiliary to the Imperial Military for a period of 10 years with familial leave every 3 months, after which they have the opportunity to return to Clan Solus or remain in Sith service"
She was later chosen personally by Darth Carnifex to undertake an extensive Memory wipe treatment for which she was transferred to a Sith Imperial military hospital on the remote world of occupied Krownest . After which, She was collected by Saryn Naberrie , who worked for Darth Carnifex as a concubine and informal aid and was unaware of the treatment at this time.
She was brought directly to Lord Carnifex aboard the Malsheem where she immediately began training under the dark lord as one of his Apprentices.
The training was exhausting and brutal, every lesson resulting in broken bones due to the soft and cartilaginous nature of the Vahla skeletal system. Saryn Naberrie and his sister Sera Naberrie played an important role as the young apprentice's emotional support and anchor, who became close friends with Saryn in particular throughout her loyal service to the Kainate.
It was at Saryn's suggestion(and with his money) that Kaila's entire skeleton was surgically plated in Laminanium , a process which earned her the name "Irons" and to which she would credit her survival for years to come. This had great impact on her training with the Dark Lord that would eventually see her become a true agent of the Kainate.
She would later be involved in a number of REDACTED missions until being sent to Dathomir in order to find the lost knowledge of Darth Parasideus. She went missing there and was never heard from again.

Kaila Irons was born of fear and desire. Her master's desire to create a tool of war and intrigue, and Kaila's fear of her master. Whoever she was before waking up in the hospital was gone, for better or for worse. She could have been a happy little girl raised by a loving family, or she could have been a spice addict in the lowest reaches of Coruscant. But for better or for worse she was chosen by the Dark Lord and molded into something greater than most. It may have cost her a great deal, Her memories, days on end of torment, Even her iron bones were born of the desire to become what He demanded of her. And for fear of what failure brings. In the end however, she is stronger for it.
For that at least, she remains loyal.
