STRENGTHS

• Trickweapon - A telescopic shaft allows the staff to become as small and agile as a defensive Shoto, or as long reaching as a Lightsaber Pike with the push of a button. Furthermore, A second lightsaber can be attached via custom gription lock ports located at the end, allowing the split sabers to be twisted together, becoming a double bladed staff.
• Blade Drain - Kaila's first lightsaber contains a Blade Drain component, allowing it drain energy from opposing sabers with each clash against it's violet blade.

WEAKNESSES

• Non-Armored - Kaila constructed her first saber before having access to Phrik, only installing the small handguard once her second had been completed. Thus it is far more susceptible.
• Blade Drain - A drawback of Kaila's blade draining saber is that is has potential to become overloaded when absorbing large amounts of energy.

DESCRIPTION

Like any Apprentice, Kaila's way of fighting was greatly influenced by her master. Be it out of fear or diligent study. Training against Darth Carnifex taught her a lot about fighting foes much larger than herself, and from replacing her bones with metal to designing versatile weapons, she adapted accordingly. Nothing communicates this at a glance better than her lightsabers.

Her first lightsaber was designed for aggressive forms such as Form 7 and Jar'Kai, in which she sought to tire and chip at her foe's defenses until an opening presented itself, although the idea of tiring out Carnifex seemed impossible. To this end, A Blade Drain system was installed into the saber, in addition to a Blade Lock that allowed her to throw it at opponents from a safe distance. A form of attack that quickly became one of her favorites.

Learning that she could not always overpower a foe's defenses and that the key to safety when facing those who could was distance, Kaila would eventually begin training with split sabers and the Lightsaber Lance, although the sacrifice of her agile guard shoto was unacceptable. In time her weapon would be adapted as she had done so many times, being affixed to a collapsing staff that served to put distance between herself and overpowering foes, and be cut down to size during sudden bouts of aggression that would leave her foes guessing and often on the defensive. Now she could compete against a great variety of opponents by adapting to them as she had adapted for her master.
