Description: Kalestat is a crystal native to the world of Mnencheiasus, which it can only be found on. The crystals lie deep within the crust in large conglomerates, often also appearing within deep caves and large cavernous areas, making them only somewhat difficult to find. The use of these crystals dates back to several thousand years BBY, when the Mnenchei first used them during Force-enriched Shamanistic rituals and rites. They had only become popular late BBY by the turn of the millennia, when the Mnenchei became unified under a single theocratic matriarchy. The crystals were widely believed to be the cause of the Sundering of Mnencheiasus which caused a global exodus of the Mnenchei peoples to Sikune, Ansion and Esfandia, as they happen to be incredibly well-structured and capable of reverberating in the Force. This makes them excellent Force Crystals tuned and used in the creation of a personal lightsaber, which the millennia-old Justiciary of Ri'ess practiced upon the end of galactic isolationism and the discovery of the hidden world. The blades of these lightsabers glowed a soft pink with almost white cores and were capable of reaching significant lengths and widths without excess power consumption. This in turn lead to standard-sized sabers with limiters creating marginally "stronger" blades that could potentially short out cheaply-made systems. Kalestat can also be used in blasters and energy weapons as a catalyst, though pure and natural Kalestat are both expensive and sacred, thus Compressed-Energy Crystals are synthesized in the form of the naturally occurring gem for these weapons - namely done by Ri'ess Regal Drives - though these CEC Kalestat crystals do not hold any special properties over the norm and are not especially tuned to the Force.
There is said to be a specially crafted Kalestat like no other natural or synthesized specimen ever found, which glows black and glows light colors, with an almost bloody magenta coloring to the crystal. The crystal, when placed in a lightsaber, is sufficient enough to create a lightclub of average strength and has an eerie black core with a pink aura that gives white and lightly-colored objects a strange glow. The crystal itself is no further out of the ordinary than a pure kalestat in any normal saber; however, its special properties lie in the method of its creation. A sort of spin on Sith Sorcery, the shamanistic Queen Alachei Mnemenos secretly slew a whole village on the outskirts of a Mnenchei forge city. She used the blood and tears of the innocent as payment and catalyst in the creation of her new crystal, which involved three days and nights of unending meditation to forge in a geocompressor. Drops of blood and tears collected were mechanically fed into the crystal slowly, giving it nigh flawless molecular alignment, as the sins of the shaman which were fought against in her mind gave it power and life. The finished product was a relic that could be used with the Force as an amplifier to sense the true innocence of a person and their intent, regardless of background.
