"Kandra" is a custom-made holdout pistol of the Madam's Mini model (though the model consists only of Kandra, the two are synonymous), made by Aurelius Baldor and his company Shadowhand Skunkworks for an associate of The Family, Madam Malcoma Hesse. Designed according to the needs of a woman such as the Madam, Kandra is easily concealable, packs a mean punch, and is quite a looker aside. The rylith power cells make the little piece capable of outputting a staggering amount of firepower in one shot, although due to the weapon's size and holdout nature it is only capable of firing two shots before it needs to be reloaded. For those times when killing isn't necessary, Kandra can also fire stun shots, though still only two. Shock-absorbant gel, purchased from Roble Manufacturing, ensures that Madam Hesse remains comfortable even while firing Kandra at unruly patrons. Kandra isn't just strong, but also beautiful. The weapon is plated in Haysian gold, while the grips are made of Tibrin mother-of-pearl. A high-class gift for a high-class woman.
