- Accessibility: Located in the eastern district of the Academy sector, the eastern academy is more open campus wise with the buildings of the district around it and the walls beyond that. Locks on the buildings and barricades set up to prevent rioters from getting into the other districts as the district police defend the main entrances/exits
- Description: The noble Eastern Academy where largely the children of the risher merchants in Kansai went and which gave some of the most high concept teaching at one time. While the four academies on Kansai were made to battle and fight against each other to produce the strongest warriors per the Onyx empresses plans and mandates the Eastern was always considered the hive of philosophers and deeper thinkers. The recent years have seen the rise of new thoughts and dangerous concepts. Leading to mass riots within the districts and despotic extortion from the student council. Smashed windows, graffiti, barricades sealing up the district and shops around that are largely burned out with filth i the streets and rats as well as homeless.
Burned out police station: he remains of the district police forces, burned ot building with gutted remains that are covered in graffiti and debris from bottles, fireworks and just trash.
Destroyed Shops: Smashed windows, looted supplies, the shops that served the students have been decimated and most of its people left with nothing.
Barricades: Heavily defended at the main entrances to the district, enforcement with non-lethal riot control weapons to push back when rioters try and escape to cause problems in the other districts are implemented.

HISTORICAL INFORMATION
The historical Eastern academy was originally built by the Onyx empress when she came to kansai... as part of her interclan wars to keep her subjects from revolting against her by giving them targets of intrigue. She pushed the four academies to be in a constant state of mock battle to produce the strongest among them and those would become the ground work for her elite Yovshin.. the Onx guard were less dedicated to the ancient tenets and operated per her orders carrying out whatever task. None more produced more loyal then the Eastern Academy which seemed better at forming zealots that would serve a purpose... in some cases this could be good and in some cases they were producing IInquisitors for Akio's reforged Atrisian empire to hunt down force users and make them serve the will of the emperor.
Compared to may of the others though the Eastern academy fell on dangerous times, without a strong purpose their richer students turned towards activism which seemed simple. Wanting accountability but then when that was done and they saw how they could take more power they pushed outwards demanding social changes in the district... the other academies and the police forces in the city pushed back restricting and confining them to their own district. Declaring it a zone where everyone was equal a few of them seemed to rise to power as the punishment squad hunting down those who used other species and cultures things from across the galaxy. Demanding that others bend and do what they say or there was going to be problems.
For years the protests and riots wore down the police forces within the district and the burning of their precint while the shops and buildings being made into trash areas. No one wanted to clean they just moved onto another and the barricades remained up but the people were fleeing and trying to get away from it. Then when the empress visited hearing about the unrest and what level it had reached as rumors and stories were finally reaching them after being suppressed and kept away. She entered with a yovshin and jedi escort that fought the punishment squad and handling them deftly as they appeared more like children to were role playing at revolutionary but wanted all of the benefits of the Atrisian commonwealths government... well they were sent to either prisons or back home where their parents were more then happy to discipline them.
With the riots quelled after several years and the districts being worked on to repair it, the academy itself was largely closed down... they were working to turn i into a strict military academy that would be used outside of the now three traditional academies of the Onyx empress. The reconstruction was designed to bring back and bring in new shopowners, new people that would seek to build up the district as well as for housing for cadets of the academy that would be able to get fast tracked to the academies in the other provinces.
