Songsteel is almost invulnerable to lightsaber strikes and to blaster-fire.
Lightsabers can break if hit against this armor with sufficient strength.
Only sustained fire towards armored segments can get through, but it needs to be from multiple blasters.

Rubber Lining decreases chances of conductivity in armor.

As the armor of Kao Xusros, it is part of his “present” as he ascends to knighthood. It was made with both fear and combat prowess in mind. In its fear factor, is the ideas of the “screaming” mask/helmet, and the spikes. For combat prowess, the helmet is form-fitting to Kao’s head by means of Rubber insulation., and the rest of the armor does not really hamper movement but increases defenses. Songsteel was used as the main component due to its light-weight and high resistance to lightsabers. Kao designed the hidden defenses as to be of Armorweave and Terentatek Hide in that the two would honeycomb each other, with the armorweave being more outwards and the terentatek closer to Kao’s body. The armor is segmented, and with such, only mainly protects his Head, Shoulders, Forearms, Chest, Knees, Thighs, and Shins. The rest is covered in Zeyd Cloth with an internal layer of honeycombed armorweave and terentatek hide. There is rubber inside of the helmet and dispersed beneath the segments of Songsteel Plates.
