Before she was Kaoli Torrens, she was a young human male by the name of Ethan Price or Juno Kryze. Glenn was born on Onderon to a pair of smugglers during the year 41 BBY. When he was 6 years old, he and his family was caught in a war which left him orphaned. After surving on his own for about a year, he was found by a Mandalorian woman called Fae Kryze and was adopted into the clan. For the next ten years, after Glenn adopted the name Juno Kryze, Fae taught him Mandalorian customs and trained him in several forms of combat. During the training, it was discovered Juno was Force Sensitive and he also found out that Fae was also the same way. She trained him in the Force secretly for the next six years.

On 26 BBY, Juno Kryze officially became a member of the Nite Owls, which was an elite group of Mandalorians within the Death Watch. After a year of this, he was taken to the Jedi by Fae to be evaluated. Despite facing opposition from the Jedi due to him being too old, he was eventually taken in and put under the supervision of Jedi Knight Ella Bell. After he built his first lightsaber, Juno and Ella were sent to fight on the various battlefronts of the Clone Wars. When he was 23 on 19 BBY, Padawan Juno Kryze was one of those that escaped the carnage when his troops turned on him and his master, and he went into hiding.

After a couple of years being undercover as a bounty hunter, Juno was approached by a rebel cell and was asked to join them to fight the Empire. He was getting bored with his current circumstances so he signed up. For the next few years he engaged in guerilla tactics against the stormtroopers along with the rest of Albatross Squadron. He even took on a Force Sensitive apprentice. Almost a couple of decades of fighting and training his apprentice later, Juno was killed when he attempted to defend the rest of Albatross Squad while they evacuated after a botched rescue mission. However, that wasn't the end for him. Juno became a Force Spirit and was put into a form of stasis. After nearly several centuries have passed, Juno was reborn into a new body and took on a brand new identity with the intent to survive in the new world.

Kaoli Torrens was the middle child born on Kaeshana to a human mercenary and an Eldorai military commander.
