Background Notes:
Kara Thurston was born on planet Zanbar in the Outer Rim. Her parents were from Mandalore but they chose not to raise her in their tradition. She would enlist in the Galactic Republic Marine Corps and serve in the ongoing Sith Empire, undergoing the training program on Anaxes to become a shock trooper a few years after enlisting. Eventually the Galactic Republic buckled and collapsed under the onslaught of the Sith Empire. Following the loss of command, Kara Thurston enlisted with an irregular force that was continuing the fight with the victorious and now-splintering Sith Empire. Kara Thurston has spent her entire life dedicated to war, originally, in defense of the Galactic Republic, and ostensibly, in pursuit of its full restoration.
