• Contact Freeze: This crystal generates an extreme cold when making contact with materials or flesh. This is represented by a residue of black jagged ice replacing any moisture within the vicinity of an object upon contact. This can have a burrowing like affect into a material.

• Explosive: When these crystals shatter, they release an ice vapour in a metre-wide radius that turns any soft-damp items or water into ice.

Kardun, extra-galactic home and secondary seat of power to the Bryn'adul Empire. Nearly two centuries ago, the catatonic forefathers of the Titan, Khaeus, were slain by their forebearer. Over time, their graves sprouted these strange crystals. Crystals born from the corpses of Drael long dead. When the civil war came, the planet of Kardun was drenched in Drael blood and their weakness for the cold was used against them. Brutal, ruthless war-machines and weapons were used as loyalists and heretic would forgo all ideas of honour in attempts to wipe each other off the face of the Galaxy.

The very greatest weapon against the Drael rises from their fallen and into the pommels of blades and weapons to cut their kin down.
