Karima, like many among her people, was taken in and raised a foundling of Clan Fett after the unfortunate death of her mother - a Senator of the Galactic Alliance. Not that she ever cared too much about her biological ties, proudly bearing the name Fett as her own and choosing to stay with her adoptive family when she came of age to take the oath. A troublesome youth who often gave a splitting headache to the rest of her Clan, she never truly outgrew her hot-headed, impulsive nature, bringing no small amount of trouble to those willing to stick up for her. Although difficult to live with at times, Karima has always shown a great deal of love for the rest of Clan Fett, regarding all of them warmly as a large and happy family - a bond that can never truly be broken.
With the decline of the Mandalorian Enclave, Karima became disillusioned with the Crusade, abandoning the mantle she had so eagerly taken as her own at first - and returning to the time-honored tradition of mercenary work, for which her Clan has ever-been renowned for throughout the ages. The name Fett evokes the most legendary of bounty hunters; a goal for the ambitious young warrior to reach, as she hopes to become immortal through her deeds.
In spite of such lofty goals, a gnawing sense of dread eats away at the lone warrior as she carves a path through the Galaxy. The path of the soldier of fortune is a decidedly lonely one, and she wonders just how fulfilling the life of her ancestors must have been. After all, there is always a price to be paid for greatness...

Known among Clan Fett and beyond as a profoundly arrogant woman with a thirst for glory that sometimes exceeds her good judgement, Karima is a trailblazer, regarded by some among her people as the best the Mando'ade can be for the seemingly endless courage and determination she keeps on showing in the face of adversity. Her critics, however, tend to use the word jareor around her, regarding her as someone more foolish than brave. Try as she might to pretend otherwise, Karima cares a great deal about what others think of her, particularly when it comes to her people; it is this desire for validation that leads to her ever-increasing lust for battle, hoping to find herself renowned as one of the greatest warriors of her time.
Prone to showing off both in and off the battlefield, Karima's fighting style is just as effective as it is needlessly flashy. Although sometimes exploited by shrewd opponents, her tendency to draw out her fights reflects well on her battle sense; needless flourishes of her beskad in between strikes tend to infuriate her opponents, goading them into more easily exploited actions, to say nothing of her habit to deploy her personal energy shield right when an opponent thinks her exposed to blasterfire.
In the end, few can deny that her technique brings an undeniable beauty to her fights, her motions speaking of a certain gracefulness. Some liken it to a deadly dance, and find themselves captivated by the murderous spectacle.

Karima believed in the dream of the Mandalorian Enclave. So much so, in fact, that the young woman left the Karjr and their bounty hunting in order to truly lend her might to the building crusade against the Galactic Alliance. The reality of war was not quite as satisfying as the thrill of the hunt, however, and when it became clear that her people had bitten off more than they could chew, the dejected warrior was left despondent, unsure of her place in the galaxy. Returning to her Clan's roots, she took up the time-honored tradition of bounty hunting, selling her services as a mercenary - thus furthering the image of her people as fearless killers for hire. The credits she makes are often spent as extravagantly as she can; for, in truth, she cares only for the glory that comes with each contract. Although content with this lifestyle at first, she has begun to question whether she can truly handle the loneliness that comes with it as well.

Were her ancestors satisfied with their station in life? Was the money and the renown worth the utter lack of a social life, surrounded by dozens of envious rivals and not one good friend among them? These questions keep her up at night, and so the heir of a long and proud tradition of mercenaries has difficulty sleeping...
