DESCRIPTION
Karjos Holdings is a corporation that is engaged in the business of acquiring, investing and managing corporate subsidiary companies. While the corporation doesn't maintain very many holdings of its own, they're instead spread out and under the name of its many subsidiary companies for sake of cost, upkeep and insurance purposes. Though the company is based in Alliance space and on the ecumenopolis of Hosnian Prime they also maintain a smaller branch on Coruscant. Mainly established so their benefactor and Chairman, Senator Hal Karjos, can easily access the corporations assets. Even with their interest laid mainly in corporate acquisition and management, the company has its own stakes in other fields. It also uses financial gain from its investors and multiple holdings to propel individual subsidiaries forward with the funding and resources needed to corner and/or expand in certain markets.

RATIONALE
Hal Karjos 'inherited' the corp from one of it's founders and former CEO who was also his father. The entire Karjos family has stake in the corporation. They're a known trading family from Hosnian Prime and wield considerable capital and influence. The corporation has been in the hands of Hal for three years ever since his father handed operations over to him after ascending to be a Senator and carted off to Coruscant. Hal utilizes this corporation to maintain his and his families interest and shares in multiple subsidiaries and future acquired holdings. Thus cutting cost and bureaucratic upkeep.
