Four Points: THe foundation pillars of the temple, large trees that have had their branches interweave over the centuries into a thick latticework. Being used as interiors
Pathway of the Tach: Following a fault line on Kashyyyk the pathway is a secret entrance to the temple. Going through traps to test the ones who are trying to get to the ancient structure.

Temple of Verdata: Ancient and on the shadowlands floor, remains of wuffa worms and creatures litter the area around and inside while thick roots have grown over collapsing sections of the temple as the trees grew larger. The excavation teams have managed to open some sections of it but there are still more.

HISTORICAL INFORMATION
Ancient by most standards on Kashyyyk, the old temple was constructed by jedi builders who had come to study the grandeur of the forests on Kashyyyk and the trees specifically. Discovered on the way to far off planets like Ossus and any of the other worlds strong in life and the force that their navigators might be able to feel.
Centuries later it was reopened after the disaster on Ossus

In the new sith wars
During the clone wars
In the time of the galactic empire
during the time of the first order
While krayt's empire
During the gulag plague
throughout the 400 year darkness
Shortly before the incident with the harvesters Je'gan, Selena, ben Watts, matsu Ike, Jaxton and several jedi masters came to the planet working to reclaim the temple from the hands of a darksider working with the trandoshan slavers.
Later after the collapse of the republic Matsu returned to try and help who she could
With the arrival of the silver jedi order and construction of the silver rest the temple itself was left mostly undisturbed. Few remembered it existed and even fewer chose to care preferring to carve out a place on the world.
