Kasha is the route of all problems

Cerea
0600 hours
Outsider Citadel 11

The shuttle had just landed, and Kara was nervous. She knew she would need a lightsaber if she were to fulfill her duties to the queen, but at the same time her lack of confidence and self esteem made it difficult to do any kind of combat what so ever. She was easily distracted by these thoughts even in combat, and this would be a death sentence in any actual situation. Kara had recently been digging through the library aboard the pillar in order to figure out how to make a lightsaber, and all of the components she would need. In her studies she came across a crystal known as a Kasha. These crystals were used mainly by Cereans, so she knew where to look. These crystals allowed the users mind to be free of distractions, even when she is in extreme combat situations. This would be advantageous to her, as it would allow her to not only calm down in life, but calm down in combat as well, a lifesaver to Kara.

She had told the queen about these crystals, and she agreed to come with her. The queen had changed since when they first met, apparently becoming uncursed, which is fine, though rather sudden. The queen had helped Kara track down a person who could help them find these crystals, he lived in one of the richer Outsider Citatadels, one of the few on Cerea that were not ghettos.

It was heavily raining when they arrived, the thunder and lighting were almost perpetual, though not that it would matter right now since they would be heading inside soon, as these citadels were entierly indoors, though Kara knew in order to get the crystals they would have to leave the citadel. As the shuttle touched down on the roof, she looked to [member="Lady Sovereign"].

"Are you ready to go?" She said as the doors to the shuttle opened.

Things had been progressing with The Awoken even faster than Winter had previously expected...It wasen't as vast as the One Sith or Silver Sanctum, but the woman felt a true sense of accomplishment in her efforts to unite those under a single banner...Magic...who would of thought? The Witches of Dathomir, The Shapers, Sith Mages. All of them shackled within their own little worlds completely satisfied with their own little chunks of power...And there was nothing wrong with that. Upholding tradition and raising new generations in an old fashion way was something many continued to do. But in The Queens mind...that method was outdated and stagnant. They would grow, but they would go into a shell. No room for innovation and advancement when you hash out the same thing over and over again. Which is why in the end...The Awoken took to the stars.

Winter had been traveling through space almost her entire life...a nomadic lifestyle had a certain kind of freedom...never answering to anyone or having to worry about the common problems that came with living on a planet...it was relaxing. Looking out the window and staring into the empty void...although it was not for everyone, Winter certainly thought it would suit The Awoken rather nicely.

And as the womans thoughts continued to stir, her ice cold gaze wandered to her disciple [member="Kara Blackmoor"] . The young lady had been rather insistent on getting a Lightsabre crystal and rather eager about beginning her training...Something Winter respected and admired in the young Dathomir Witch.

Having an Apprentice was...new for The Queen. She did not consider herself very kind of understanding and thus worried Kara would be susceptible to Winters harshness. But despite Winters worries, the two had gotten along rather well with few issues.

In the midst of these thoughts, Kara spoke to Winter and The Queen looked to the opening doors of the shuttle as they landed upon the roof...heavy rain clattering atop the shuttle and making Winter grimace before standing to her feet. Her high heels clacking against the steel of the shuttle as she clenched her fist.

"Indeed i am...let us begin our first journey together." She cooed softly, looking over her shoulder at Kara and narrowing her icy blue eyes. "Stay sharp...and stay diligent." She added lastly before stepping off the ship and into the pouring rain, unfazed.

Kara stepped out of the shuttle, putting up the hood of the cloak she was wearing, She then pulled out a small datapad and pulled up the adress they would need to go to. The man was one John Bourne, he would help them find the crystal that Kara wanted. John was a kind of hermit, he lived in a fairly nice house, but he rarely ever left it, preferring to stay inside, though she was able to get ahold of him, it just took a bit more effort than usual.

Kara walked down the stairs into the building, which is apparently less cramped than the other Citadels, but it was still pretty cramped. They walked down the small narrow streets following the directions she had on the datapad, it took a bit of time, but eventually they cam across the house of the man. Kara knocked on the door.

The man came out and answered the door. He had hair grayed with age, and a scar running down his right eye, he seemed to have been in some sort of war, but that was just a guess.

"John Bourne?" Kara said

"Mabye, who are you?" The man said with a gravely voice.

"Kara Blackmoor, I belive you got my message?" Kara responded

"Oh yes. You, Come on in." He said

Kara went inside the house to see a nice interior, marble floors in the foyer, nice walls, nice for a house in general.

"Now who is your friend?" The man asked

Kara waited for [member="Lady Sovereign"] to respond herself.

Winter paid little mind to the surroundings of the are as she allowed her apprentice to simply lead the way to this contact of theirs. The woman had entrusted Kara to find her own leads and follow through on her own whims. Winter was not the kind of master to dictate the every move of her disciple...she'd much rather watch and see how they operated on their own and chime in when guidance was needed. Besides...the woman was young. Thus she had time to grow and evolve...make her weaknesses her strengths and explore her true self. The Ice Queen had no intention of locking her in a temple and giving history lessons...because in the end. Controlled environments would always be inferior to true experience on the field.

As as Kara lead them to the building, Winters icy gaze wandered over the rather fancy exterior as Kara spoke with the man on the other side...And when they were finally invited inside Winter looked down at the smaller man as stood before him with her arms crossed over her chest.

"Winter Sovereign...Queen of The Awoken." The woman stated coldly. Her cold gaze flicking back to her apprentice as she waited to see what this journey of theirs would provide next.

John Bourne was a human man, he had a history that went way back. Back in the old days, he was in a major mecenary organization before he left for a high up position in the republic, he made alot of money in both of those military careers, but he retired years ago, and now tries to settle down and live out his twilight years in a peaceful nice beautiful place such as Cerea, helping out folks when he can. He has not had the best life, he lost his wife years ago due to his work, his former mercenary comrade's killed her as some sort of sick revenge, that is why he left for the republic, and why he is so untrusting, life has not done him well. Now he only has his son, and to his dismay he is now making the same terrible mistakes he did when he was young, but that is outside of his control now, for now, he would just help these folks out, it was all he could do at this point.

"Nice to meet you Your Majesty" He said with a bit of nervousness, he did not know he would be meeting with a queen.

Kara knew little about this man, but what she did know, is that he knew where you could get things, all she needed was one crystal, focusing crystals were not hard to find, and she already had a few, she just needed the primary crystal. The man seemed like an interesting character, but that was not important, all she knew was that he had military history, that was about it.

"Now i heard you can help us find a Kasha crystal?" She said

"Yes... i know a guy in a nearby village who can get you one, though i will need to go with you, they do not like outsiders. We will need to take some sort of transportation, it is too far to walk" He said

"We have a shuttle on the roof." She said.

"That will be fine." He replied

Kara looked to the queen for some sort of secondary approval of this course of action.
