- Name: Kasina Satwas - High Sith for Metal Serpent
- Designation: Non-sentient
- Origins: Valrar
- Average Lifespan: 150 Galactic Standard Years
- Estimated Population: Planetary
- Description: While not as devastating as its progenitor, a Kasina Satwas is no less deadly. Generally sporting three to five heads, each just as capable in devouring prey as the other, covered in armored scales, and making a rancor look small, the creature is a threat to anything that encounters it.
- Breathes: Type I
- Average Height of Adults: 50 meters
- Average Length of Adults: 80 meters
- Skin color: Lime green covered in brassy-colored scales
- Hair color: No hair
- Distinctions: The most notable physical traits of the creature, much like its progenitor, is the many heads it sports, the armored scales that cover its entire body, and its sheer size and strength. Males typically have additional armor scales covering its head in a ridge like formation while females are more slender and their scales are almost copper in color.
- Races: No other races
- Force Sensitivity: Non-Sensitive
- Like the Emperor of Serpents, the Kasina Satwas are immensely powerful creatures with the muscles being enhanced through genetic engineering and Sith Alchemy. While not nearly the same size as the original beast, the creature is still fully capable of crushing fortified positions and vehicles smaller than it, with each head being able to wrap around and crush it or being trampled under its feet or main body.
- The scales that cover its body are incredibly tough and thick, reinforced through Sith Alchemy to take plenty of punishment from small arms such as blaster fire, disruptor fire, slugthrower rounds, and lightsabers and vehicle fire alike. Even worse, for prey and enemies, is the creature has evolved the ability, due to the introduction of stone mite DNA, to incorporate metals that it consumes into its scales, strengthening them even further.
- Just like with the original creature, if a head is successfully damaged, the other heads will remove their damaged fellow and two new heads, fully grown and developed due to Gen'dai DNA and their unique regeneration abilities, will sprout from the stump. It can also regenerate minor wounds to the rest of its body, but not its legs or tail fully.
- Another carry over from the Emperor of Serpents is the ability of the creatures, due to their Leviathan DNA, to breathe a plasma-like breath from its maws, devastating anything in front of it in searing heat and destruction.
- A final carry over from the progenitor creature is the blister trap contained within the beasts' stomach that can absorb the souls and energies of prey it has consumed, and just like the blister trap of the Emperor of Serpents, they exude a field around the creature that can absorb offensive Force powers directed at it to energize the beast.
- For all the immense strength its size and muscles grants it, the creature is not a subtle thing. Defenders can see it coming from many kilometers out, allowing for attempted evacuations or plans to be drawn up to potential defeat it.
- While the scales covering its body are an extremely potent defense against attacks, they can be broken through sustained fire on sections or if the enemy utilizes more exotic weaponry such as corrosive substances or cryoban weaponry. Using such weapons will cause the affected sections to become brittle and more easily destroyed, especially if the creature has incorporated a significant amount of metal into its scales.
- Leftover from the original beast, while it has an impressive regeneration ability, it can be halted if the wounded area or head stump are cauterized in some fashion. In addition, if the creature regenerates too many heads, it can become top heavy and fall over, making it much easier to deal with as the creature won't be able to move.
- An orange glow will appear in the head's maw that is about to unleash its fire attack, and if a commander if clever enough, they could fire into the open mouth or find some way to obstruct it from releasing the attack. Doing so will cause severe damage to the head or outright cause it to explode.
- Insane as it might be, if somehow someone survives being swallowed by the creature, they could attack and destroy the blister traps hidden within it. This would weaken the beast substantially and affect its ability to protect against Force based attacks, such as Force Lightning, Force Light, etc. If too many are damaged, the monster will suffer a massive drain on its own life force, causing parts of it to disintegrate or die. Additionally, the blister trap is not as strong as the originals and will lose its Force protection ability if attacked with too many powers in rapid succession.
- Diet: Omnivore, Silicates and Metals
- Communication: Roars and growls, but it can be aimed and moderately controlled through the touch of the dark side of the Force from a trained Sith Beastmaster
- Technology level: No technology level
- Religion/Beliefs: No religion or belief system
- General behavior: Kasina Satwas are extremely solitary and territorial beasts, with individuals carving out lairs in the mountains and jungle valleys on Valrar. They retain their progenitor's genetically encoded desire to consume, dominate, and destroy anything that a Sith Master might command it to target or that wanders into its marked territory around its lair. Females will only mate with a Kasina Satwas that sports scarred scales and hides, indicating that the male has dominated and consumed a lesser member of their species, although it is not uncommon for the female to kill a weaker male.
When the Mandalorian came to reclaim their world, they were forced to deal with something leftover from when the world fell to the Sith: the mighty Emperor of Serpents. A fierce battle was fought, with many losses, but eventually the Mandalorians were able to fell the massive hydra by striking its weak point at its neck. For many, it was believed that this experiment of the Lady of Secrets was finally put to rest, but they would be incorrect.
Samples of the Emperor of Serpents had been preserved, both from its creation process and from tissues recovered from the creature, and were brought back to the Sithspawn covered world of Valrar. There, the alchemists of the Order of Arcane Syn went to work with their dark mistress to several smaller and improved specimens over the Emperor, the desire being a new frontline creature that could be unleashed onto battlefields by Sith Beastmasters when needed. The new creature would lack the prominent valve weakness of the progenitor beast, its size greatly scaled down, but the DNA sequences of stone mites were introduced to make the creature's scales even stronger. It was discovered by the alchemists and geneticists on the world that when a specimen consumed metal, it incorporated strands of the digested material into its scales, a discovery that delighted its creators.
