- The Focusing Lens has been altered in a way that has made the energy beam come out like that of an actual sword's blade. It essentially completes this broken hilt. This also has caused what looks like an unstable effect from the beam but it's unharmful and more of just leaked light.

When Uyera was still alive, he used a beskar sword instead of an actual lightsaber like majority of Jedi, something that Katina admired tremendously. After his funeral, Katina was brough back Uyera's broken hilt, the rest of the blade lost. In honor and memory of her former master, Katina hollowed out just enough in the hilt to add the technology needed to give it a lightsaber's blade. Wanting to keep the sword's aesthetic, she altered the lens to give the energy beam a much more wide and flat surface which was helped by the Velmorite crystal. Katina obtained this crystal as a birthday gift from her master, stating that it was a color that matched her hair, and passion to protect the innocent. Outside all the normal properties of any lightsaber, the hilt is slightly heavier than that of most lightsabers, for Katina, this is no big deal and makes her swings and slices feel as though there is more force behind them, but for other's this could give it an off balance feel, bottom heavy is the best way to describe it. Light escapes the focusing lens as well, giving it an unstable look but it's simply just light.
