Cruk Tuk

OUT OF CHARACTER INFORMATION
This beam cannon was essentially made to be a moderate range sniper of an army, designed for taking down troublesome targets like the more heavily armored troops or some transports. However, their slow rate of fire and typically limited ammo means every shot should be made to matter. They also pose a serious risk to the wielder if they or the canisters are hit, as the explosion could very easily kill not only them but even perhaps nearby allies or enemies. While rocket launchers may have a greater safety and better area of effect when hit, the beam cannons have more precision and a faster shot that is harder to evade or block.
- Intent: Re-establishing a beam weapon for use by the Katititk Hive and allies

- The Katititk Beam Cannon is designed with a very high output at a rather sizable distance. It’s meant to cut through personal shields and most armors to kill opponents before they can get close.
- When used by Geonosian Elites they are able to supply the explosive liquid more directly themselves, however, canisters were created for the purpose of allowing others to be able to use them on the battlefield.
- Excellent range.
- Good accuracy
- Break through most shields and armor at high speed and power. Can take down lightly armored vehicles.
- More easily used by Geonosians, but able to be used by most species that can use other blasters.
- Can be held in one hand or two
- The canisters holds very little ammo and would result in most people having to carry quite a number if they expect any kind of long battle. These are not made to be a universal weapon, but only for those with a good aim.
- The canisters can explode if hit by a blaster.
- If damaged in the right way the cannon itself can explode
- The weapon takes awhile to re-fill and recharge leaving the wielder at a disadvantage due to the weapons size and weight more resembling a heavy rifle.
- Ill advised to use this as a bludgeoning weapon as it could explode with too many or too hard of an impact. Even if it didn’t explode at first, it could break a leak and that could explode at a spark.
- Although technically able to be held in one hand by design, its weight and size would make this ill advised for most species.
