- Description: The Katitik Hive Elites do not vary much from elites from the past. They possess an extra set of legs and longer torso, are aggressive, fearless, and skilled. They are often better armed than most geonosian soldiers, but also a far rarer sight, and are often seen in rather few numbers as they often work as supplements to more full armies, or working as a sort of special forces.

- Equipment:
- Beam Cannon
- Personal Energy Shield
- Armorweave armoring (common but not constant)
- Though less often seen, they do have access to the following:
- Static Pikes
Beastwarden's shield
Confessor's Whip
Casters Net - KS-5/KS-5R Sonic Blaster
- Combat Function:
- The Elites serve a variety of functions, most of which are essentially for the purpose of efficiency of greater goals. Though their units are technically of 5-7, the Elites often spread themselves to individuals or duos across a battlefield of much bigger armies. When in such a position they often work at enemy leadership or high danger opponents. As a result, if someone sees an Elite putting extra effort in targeting them, there’s probably only three possible reasons: 1. They have been deemed a high potential direct threat to the geonosian forces/allies. 2. They are in a command position, whose death could serve to disorient or discourage their allies. 3. They are being used as bait or for scare tactics.
- While these are the typical methods of the Elites, they do still sometimes serve as a sort of special forces. Usually in groups of only 3-5. This is far more rare, and would likely only take place if an aggressive infiltration at a vital combat point was required.
- It is rare to see an elite lounging on the battlefield. They will almost constantly be armed with a beam cannon or in close combat with an opponent. Their wings aid them in this as they can close gaps without wading through allies or enemies.
- The Elites possess the authority to obtain nearly anything the Katitik Hive has access to in large quantities for their work.
- The Elites are, as the name would suggest, the best of the geonosian warriors. They are known for being fearless of their own lives and interested only in the fight and the decimation of the enemy. Their skill and experience is far higher than most and while they specialize much in the use of their Beam Cannons, are often very capable of close range combat. Their experience and training also allows them to more quickly discern ways to destructure enemy militaries based on what they’ve seen, and locate the best targets.
- On top of already durable and strong geonosian physiology, and resistance to radiation, Elites possess an even greater strength and speed due to their pure dedication to violence. Their wings in particular are more capable than normal, and have resulted in their ability to maneuver battlefield far better than most flight capable species.
- Capable of directly inputting an explosive fluid into the beam cannon to refill it. This does still take time, but it makes it somewhat easier as it avoids the issue of having to keep more reloads. Their strength also helps to allow them to hold the weapon with one hand.
- An elite's fearless dedication can be its own downfall. While it does mean they’ll fight to the bitter end, it also means once a fight starts the elite is unlikely to stop until they believe the enemy dead. For this reason, elites are poor choices to send in to capture a target, due to a rather high preference to kill them. It also means that in spite of their authority, they are unlikely to ever be involved in negotiations post-combat. And would often prefer to just agree to fight until the problem gets resolved.
- Although less often on the battlefield due to often being split up during combat, the Elites desire the kill and combat more-so than most geonosians and can get into in fighting over strategies that would prevent them from being involved.
- While the Beam Weapon already is a danger in others hands, the Katitik Elites produce the fluid themselves. This means even if the weapon itself isn’t hit, an explosive or fiery injury entering into the connected arm holding the beam cannon (or usually used for it) can cause the elite to explode just like their weapon.
- Elites have issue with the concept of retreating. It isn’t uncommon for geonosians to keep this in mind, as many elites will simply refuse to retreat and keep fighting until they die regardless. Often they must be persuaded with promise of future battles to let go.
Geonosian Elites have existed for a long time, the Katitik Hive did not feel the need to change much about them, and they are simply a local version of the same elites from long before. Most often the Katitik Elites are stationed on the Katitik Hive Industries Operators, the base of the Katitik Hive. However they are called in rotation nearly whenever the Hive sees a potential for their use, as they are the most ill at ease in peace.
They are aggressive, destructive, fearless, and skilled, but their aggression is turned nearly as much against their own during peacetime as it is against their enemies in battle. While this has no doubt been the cause of their considerable skill, literally fighting for their lives in arenas, it also has kept their numbers incredibly small. The Elites don’t view wars and battles as a win or fail unless they failed to kill enough to sate themselves. If the Elites killed numerous enemies but still lost, then it wasn’t their loss, assuming they were willing to retreat at all. However, if the enemy simply surrendered and they didn’t get to kill, then their discontentment will be obvious in the following days as they likely will fight amongst each other or the soldiers.
The Elites came to know of Cruk Tuk, who would come to be Alpha of the katitik Hive, as he was as eager as any of them to get into a battle. But was often finding himself going to the arena’s to get his way into the aristocracy. There is as a result a mixture of pride and distance between the elites and Cruk Tuk, as while his capability and forceful way into the ranks is respected, it’s rare an elite would give up a place at the front of battle just for more authority.
