- Manufacturer: Mitth'rae'leios via the Eternal Empire and Karavin Concern.
- Affiliation: Mitth'rae'leios, Karavin Concern and the Eternal Empire; Closed-Market (Eternal Empire Only)
- Model: Isotope-5 Nano-reactor
- Modularity: The only aspects of this reactor that can be modulated are it's fittings, the ship it's used in and the programming of the nano-tech.
- Production: Semi-Unique
- Material: Isotope-5, Nanotechnology, Matrix Armor Reinforcement and Chamber Plating, Dallorian Alloy Cooling Modules, Silver Faraday Lattice and Ray Shielding
- Experimental Isotope-5 Core
- Integrated Nanomachines
- Dallorian Alloy Cooling Modules
- Silver Faraday Lattice Network
- Independent Network
- Ray Shielding Network
- Matrix Armor Housing
- Isotope-5: Implementing the synthesized fuel version of Isotope-5 the network has a theoretically limitless power supply as well as chemical based ion and electromagnetic resistance.
- There is no determined effectiveness against ion effects, but the substance has chemical effects on electromagnetic fields in way of distorting them. (This was reused from another submission I made using the same material) - Nanotechnology: To accommodate for the radical nature of the Isotope-5 compound, and the sheer size of the reactor itself, the reactor has been built with a network of nanomachines designed to regulate the fluctuations of the compound as well as any potential damage done to the core and housing. Effectively this allows for the reactor to operate at maximum capacity with minimal risk for an overload from all internal, and some external, means.
- Electromagnetic Resistance: Along with the materials natural electromagnetic the reactor has been lined with a silver faraday lattice to reinforce it's ability to block incoming electronic attack.
- Independent Network: Due to it's volatility, and how heavily relied upon this reactor will be, the reactor has been fitted with it's own independent network to prevent outside interference. It is housed within the ship that utilizes it, but it's regulation network is not wired into the ships main network.
- Isotope-5: While the compound is effectively limitless it is also highly unstable. If enough damage is done to the ship in question the reactor itself is susceptible to a reactor meltdown that could destroy the entire ship.
- EMP/Ion: While the material has a natural resistance and the reactor is housed using a faraday, there is no guarantee that the reactor will not be effected by a system wide shut down of the ships electrical power.
- Immense Reactor: While nanotechnology is effective for it's size and speed there is no accounting for the sheer size of the reactor. Enough damage and stimulus from any source could easily outwork the nanomachines that are labored with regulating the reactors capability; though this is highly unlikely.
- Isolated: Due to it's need for an independent network the reactor operates solely from within the reactor housing itself. Because of this it has to be monitored by a team of experts aside from the nanomachines themselves. Should anything go wrong and the team cannot be present to adjust or modulate the operations of the nanomachines the reactor could suffer severe damage or malfunction.
During his time venturing across the galaxy time and time again, Thrael had come to experience a great many technologies at their disposal. Whether it was the droids utilized by the Confederacy, the immense weapons utilized by the Sith Empire or the extensive assets of the Galactic Alliance, he saw no end to the possibilities for new and vastly improved technology. It was during these explorations that he encountered the efficiency of the compound known as Isotope-5 and it's unique differences from what the Empire and many others had utilized in Hypermatter Annihilation.
Taking this technology and combining it with the highly efficient, though experimental, nanotechnology he, alongside a number of idyllic minds from the Eternal Empire set forth to create a reactor that could effectively self regulate itself. A reactor that required minimal interference and the ability to output limitless amounts of energy on a vast scale; and one that could resist the damages done to a ship despite their integrity. With the looming deadline for a much bigger project and the desire to produce something the galaxy had yet to prepare for, the Chiss set his mind to it's limit.
What fruit came of his mind and the physical labor was beyond what he could have expected. Larger than the average reactor but comprised in a manner to accommodate for such a factor. It was a reactor built to power much larger designs outfitted to power a variety of ships unthoughtof.
