The impact of this blot of super heated energy is a little hard to deflect with swords. The kinetic transfer of energy could shatter the bones in the arm of the wielder of the sword/or melee weapon. [SIZE=9pt]Sentry turrets are very common throughout the galaxy, stationary weapon mounts that are tied to a security system. Sentry guns can vary depending on the culture or needs of the installation. Ballistic sentry guns are more common on Mandalore. [/SIZE][SIZE=9pt]Electromagnetic Plasma Pulse turrets are not. When you round a corner would you be expecting one on Mandalore?[/SIZE]


[SIZE=9pt]Beskar does have a high rating to defend from energy based weapons. These turrets were not truly designed to stop Mando’ade. It was designed to stop most outsiders. Still the sheer stopping power of this weapon can put an armored person on their backside quickly regardless of the energy defense rating of the armor. [/SIZE]
