Strengths:
- Strong Defense - While it isn't impenetrable, the Deponn Station comes by default with a strong shield and good armor and security measures like thick blast doors in the case of emergency. This gives it protection against hostile weaponry.
- No Armaments - The Station is virtually undefended, excluding shielding and blast doors for lockdown procedures
Following the original Deponn Shipyards and its design, the new version will still be used primarily for large Capital ships, but also share yards for freighters, transports, shuttles - typically anything Kuat Drive Yards will produce and sell. Part of its design will be going into the new Troste Yards scheduled for construction in the next few weeks, however it will be nearly restricted to Capitals, such as Star Destroyers.... and the larger ships rarely found in the galaxy, to a limit. The new design for these Shipyards is to build ships in pieces since most large ships would take up the entirety of the Shipyards, and slow down production. Pieces are sent to Orbital Drydocks or external ones found nearby. While this leaves them almost unprotected from combat or space debris, it increases production speed.
