DESCRIPTION

Considering the future development of his criminal enterprise, Vigil, alias Mr. Orwell, deemed the creation of [Company] to be a necessary step forward in his pursuit of personal agenda. However, he did not have the resources to justify the creation of brand-new infrastructure nor the hostile acquisition of a pre-existing company, to use as his own. Seeing this lack of resources, he took it upon himself to acquire the assistance of HK-36 of the Metal Lords, proposing the takeover of a puppet company used by a gang of traffickers within their territory. Being an illegal activity looked down upon by Vigil, and illegal in Metal Lord space, he used the government resources to eliminate the current hideout's occupants and install his own employees to turn the hideout into a proper headquarters. Situated on Talfaglio, a red planet of low population, the construction of a large, sprrawling HQ went mostly unnoticed by locals, more concerned with managing their lives than the strange going-ons of droids. However, once the refurbishment of the headquarters was complete, the small time complex turned into a a structure more fittingly called a citadel, further expansion became the primary concern.

Being a business with under-the-table ties to the Metal Lords factional government, they began the construction of a major manufacturing plant on the planet of Ord Mantell, along with storage warehouses for their product. The planet, rather rich in salvaging businesses, was optimal for the cheap acquisition of supplies alongside an optimal location to produce the large number of product to be shipped out. The final location necessary for the company's future survival, a public office building more easily accessible by the public. Dorsis, a planet often referred to as a 'mini-Coruscant' and known for general consumer goods as its primary export, was a very suitable place to setup this final necessary piece of infrastructure. Fortunately, this time merely credits were sufficient to purchase a new office building, without the necessity of refurbishing a factory or criminal hideout. With the infrastructure in place, and the secret deals made to the Metal Lords, the company's future was rather secure and initial losses would be buffered by the far more resource filled Metal Lords in secret.

This left the company in a rather fortuitous position wherein they could practice their choice business ethics without concern. As a secret front for criminal enterprise, the company practices 'benevolent' ethics. They hire those less fortunate than usual populace, providing sizable wages in proportion to their planet's living situation, helping to inspire loyalty in employees and garner a positive reputation within its industry. This positive reputation is the primary function meant to protect the company from potential suspicion in connection to criminal activity.

Furthermore, while the company focuses on more general designs and large-scale productions, they are willing to accept specific requests, albeit at large higher cost to the client especially in the event of highly specialized requested goods. Their stock is split into the standard and special stock, the former being their public designs accounting for the majority of their income. As a criminal front, the special stock is kept secret from more law abiding clientele. This stock includes robotics and cybernetic enhancements of, questionable designs, either available for favored groups or criminals organizations (upon invitation).

RATIONALE
Having decided it prudent to obtain a stable base of operations for future endeavors, Vigil under his criminal alias approached HK-36, of the Metal Lords, in acquisition of the land for a 'legitimate' business. Using the superior resources and military capability of the Metal Lords, Vigil ousted a small time trafficking gang from their puppet company's hideout, wiping them from history and replacing it without spending the time constructing his own infrastructure.
