Kel is tall and heavily muscled though with average definition. He wears his uniform while on duty and his training gear while off-duty. He carries standard issue weapons and gear. When in training gear or with rolled sleeves his many Tatoos are visible. Though he has black hair he keeps it close shaved for better helmet fit.
BIOGRAPHY:
He was the second of five children and joined the military after finishing his schooling. After only three years he was promoted to Petty Officer second class and given platoon command over a gunnery crew. He met his ex-wife Kaiulani who was a med-tech on the same ship as him. The two married and had five children, three boys and two girls. They divorced when she left him for the ship's XO and the two were moved to different ships. They have joint custody.
He devoted his time to training and his career after those days. He quickly gained the rank of Master Chief, despite tending to disagree with his commanders, and is usually respected by his men.
