STRENGTHS AND WEAKNESSES (Required: 2 Weaknesses Minimum): Kelsey is a smart business woman with a thrill seeking side. Her adventurous nature often leads her into trouble. She is skilled with some weapons but isn't much for combat. She's acrobatic and curious but doesn't always have the best moral compass. She's also easily angered and has quit a temper. SHIP: Her ship is The Black Orchid, a small freighter similar in design to the Millennium Falcon. It has basic weapons on it and is more known for its speed and stealth abilities.
BIOGRAPHY: Kelsey was born in a small town to college educated parents. Her parents were once archeologists and scientists but settled down to be blossom wine farmers in the fields of Naboo when Kelsey was born. She grew up attending Naboos academies and her parents were hopeful she would land a job in politics. Kelsey always demonstrated a more adventurous side than that of an average politician however. This wild streak landed her in trouble more times than she could count, much to her parents dismay.
After completing basic school on Naboo her parents were hopeful Kelsey would attend a university. She did enroll in the University of Theed and took several history and archeology courses. While studying she worked as a barkeep and room attendant at a small bed and breakfast called The Lonely Cabin. She was facinated with the stories spacers and pirates would tell when they visited the small bed and breakfast. It was on the outskirts of Naboo and didn't ask many questions of its visitors which made it a hotspot for people of a more questionable occupation. During one of her interactions with a pirate named Roberts, Kelsey was offered a position in his crew. Her parents were in tears when Kelsey announced she was dropping out of University to travel the galaxy with Roberts and his crew. There seemed to be no comfort for her parents when Kelsey remained out of contact for several years after she left.
With Roberts Kelsey learned anything the crew would teach her. She was on a fast ride and wasn't ready for it to stop any time soon. The crew was notorious for it's grave robbing, a hobby which Kelsey found she liked profoundly. She learned how to steal, forge, and charm her way wherever needed and learned various weapon skills from the crew. During one of the crews travels they visited a small swamp where a shaman named Madam Roseblood read their fortune in the cards and bones she collected. Kelsey was fascinated by the different trinkets in the small shack. Kelsey decided to stay behind with Madam Rose and learn the secrets to her black arts. It was a touristy thing with very little real magic in it but Kelsey was fascinated by the way folks ate up the dark superstitious merchandise. She quickly saw the beginnings of a plan forming in her mind. Thanks to her days as a pirate Kelsey had a small illegitimate fortune to her name. She took this gold and invested in some business ventures. A small company named Shadow Charms was formed on the backwater planet where Madam Rose lived. Kelsey sold jewelry from her company and soon was able to move her business to a more populated area. She never forgot Madam Rose however who taught her a lot about business.
A few years latter Kelsey's business was thriving. She became a high end jewelery designer selling merchandise she acquired over the years from the old grave robbing crew. She purchased a few more outlets for her company and began her days as a solo grave robber. The loot she finds she either melts down, or reassembles to form the fashionable jewelry and clothing she sells to her high end customers. Kelsey spends all her free time either exploring tombs or hitting high end business parties so she can make a sell or two. Her parents are thrilled she owns her own business, but of course know nothing about the ways in which she acquires the materials used to make her merchandise but that suits Kelsey just fine. Some secrets should be taken to the grave.
