DESCRIPTION
A set of gauntlets crafted by Kelsie Sylvan to function as highly effective combat gear. After finishing her set of personal armor she realized she wasn’t a fan of the Mandalorian Vambraces on the standard set of Dauntless Commando armor (especially since it was likely she would be seeing combat against the Mandalorians soon), so she set out to build her own. Some very expensive shopping trips ensued, as well as many days spent in the workshop aboard the Rebellious Hawk. And finally, her product -- which soon underwent further modification with her transition away from service with the Confederacy of Independent Systems.
The gauntlets themselves seem rather standard. Kelsie designed for function, not cool factor. The smooth cortosis shell is only broken at a few points, mainly the slot where the songsteel sword is fitted and can slide out as well as the small protrusions where the dual blaster, grappling line, and paralyzing dart launcher are fitted. On each side of the gauntlet as well as the underside there are small rails. One ends in a holster and is meant to give easy and rapid access to secondary weapons. The other two rails are meant for additional attachments, which can be anything from a small rocket to an extra knife sheath.
