STRENGTHS AND WEAKNESSES
+ Born in the Force: Being both Theowei and Vahla she is naturally attuned to the force and her connection to it.
+ Shadow walker: Hunting with her father has taught her how to step silently. This helps her tremendously when sneaking and her enhanced Theowei vision allows her to see better in the dark than her human counter part.
+ Nimble and quick: She may not win in a strength test but she has natural speed and agility which allows her to get away quickly should a situation get too heated.
~ Bones: Having dense bones, made of cartilage, Kendrix is more prone to breaks, however the flexible cartilage allows her to squeeze into the tightest of spaces and bend in ways most are unable to bend.
~ Children: Kendrix had a love for all children and does not tolerate any ill action toward any child.
~ Fluent in Basic and Theowei: She can speak basic but also speaks her own language. Sometimes just for the pleasure of no one understanding her. ((OOC: SEE POST #2 IN REGARDS TO THEOWEI LANGUAGE))
- Selfish: Like her mother, Kendrix developed selfish tendencies, doing thing mainly for personal gain and her own well being.
- Spiteful: If she feels like getting back at someone she will even if it is long term.
- Wall: Due to the only person she loved vanishing and the lack of friends she had, Kendrix doesn't let people get close to her.

BIOGRAPHY
Kendrix' father was a famous warrior and head of the hëmdael peace keepers. He was held in the highest esteem and treated as nobility. This was one of the reasons Kendrix was born and her mother was accepted so quickly dispite being a Vahla instead of Theowei. The way her father told the story made it seem like there was no greater woman than his wife. In his story, he told of finding a beautiful Vahla maiden in the belly of a fallen metal bird. He rescued her and loved her from the second he saw her. It was a love story that should have warmed hearts. The Vahla was tolerated simply because their great warrior was so beloved. Kendrix' mother was ettelen or foreign. Such off-worlders were not as accepted in that time but his love of her allowed the Theowei to be more accepting.

The Vahla told him nothing of who she was before crashing on Retalik. He married her because of his love for her and she married him because she didn't have another option. She saw him as safety and protection from a past. Nothing more. When it came to a family, he wanted a large one where she did not. She gifted him a single daughter. The real love of his life. His wife knew it and secretly hated her own daughter.

Kendrix grew up immersed in her father's love. When he wasn't working as a hëmdael, He spent time with her showing her how to forge metal and create works from leather and bone. Every time she made him proud he added to the vine tattoo that distinguished her as his child. When Kendrix got old enough, her father trained her with a sword. He wanted her as his apprentice so that she could take his place as a hëmdael after him. The current king placed a decree however. Only full Theowei or Theowen could be hëmdael. Kendrix became singled out more for being half Vahla and her mother gave her no comfort or wisdom.

The older she got the more obvious it was that she wasn't as accepted by the Theowei as she had thought taking verbal and physical abuse almost daily. She eventually found herself in a gang of petty thieves. What she though was acceptance was really a false sense of security. They used her as the scapegoat for their bigger crimes. Her father defended her when she was framed but then he was stripped of his status when she was found guilty and they took his tëlgåir, sword of peace. Kendrix never for gave herself. Her father became a full time smith and on the side he escorted off-worlders in hunting parties. Kendrix helped him with this and enjoyed every moment with her father. He put on a brave face for her, but he wasn't happy when he wasn't a peacekeeper.
Despite no longer being part of the thieves, Kendrix didn't give up her life of thievery. She kept a different agenda. She would break into someone's home just to steal something valuable to plant in someone else's house. She spent months doing this even at time breaking into upwards to six different houses a night. She kept the hëmdael disoriented. At first they came after her but she tricked them with a fake alibi. With the problem growing they reinstated, her father as head of the hëmdael. With her job done she closed her trail by framing the same group that framed her to begin with.
With the wrong she had done fix she expected everything to be fixed. It was for some time but then over night it all changed. Half of the Theowei and Theowen vanished with out a trace and this included her father. She brandished her father's tëlgåir and worked with the remaining hëmdael to keep the peace but she wasn't well received. Still she helped them. The peace on Retalik returned even though the people did not. She kept her father's sword despite being told to relinquish it.

Her life with out her father became one of isolation. The tëlgåir and pendant was all she had left of him. Her mother didn't even mourn his lose, and for that Kendrix hated her even more. She no longer had her husband to protect her so she tried to cling to her daughter. Kendrix distanced herself however. She had no plans to connect to her mother now or ever.

THE THEOWEI LANGUAGE
THIS IS OOC AND VERY IMPORTANT TO NOTE. All info is taken from the PLANET SUBMISSION and the SPECIES SUBMISSION.
I'm putting this so that it deters most from simple saying, "Luckily for Darth Donut, he knew that language." Please don't just say that. I don't care if another character knows the language as long as there is a VALID reason and it makes sense. The language would be considered EXTREMELY rare considering the planet and its inhabitants were fairly isolated and considering it's size compared to the rest of the galaxy.
From the planet submission it says under technology that In comparison to planets like Coruscant, Retalik is in the Bronze Age. While they have crafted weapons and armor in the past, they have no electronics whatsoever and rely on nature and the planet to provide for them. Ships qualify under electronics. Not saying that they wouldn't leave the planet or that people won't come to it. Just that it would be rarer than a trading hub or planet with mineral deposits. If a Theowei did leave it would have to be for a good reason considering the connection they have to the planet and the rest of their society.
From the species submission it says under culture that: Though they know and understand basic, theowei mostly speak in their native tongue of the same name. The language sounds archaic and smooth, and is hard for most to master. With the different vowel combinations within the language and the pushing and acents in the language, its more confusing than English. Needless to say, your character most likely wouldn't learn it in a summer on Retalik or wouldn't be able to master it from a simple book.

Realistically, one would learn the language because they want to be able to communicate with that particular kind of people. The chances of meeting more than one Theowei off planet would be slim to none and to learn the language just to be learning it would be impractical considering how difficult it is.

With that being said, Kendrix will be using it a lot and so most characters that I thread with will hear her say something in Theowei. She will not translate all of the time and I won't translate out of dialogue or in a foot note. This doesn't mean I won't tell you what she says if you ask. :) I would just rather you not make your character get offended for "unknown reasons" if she said they smell bad but smile sweetly like she's greeting them instead.
