  • Bridge Escape Pod - In those situations where the rest of the vessel has become compromised in some fashion, the bridge is capable of being sealed off from the rest of the vessel and launched as an emergency escape pod. However, supplies are limited and its highly recommended that this measure only be taken if a retrieval team or friendly individuals are nearby and able to assist in recovery.

  • Modularity - The greatest strength of the vessel is in its modularity; with the Kesh II capable of switching between four specific modules at a moment's notice.
    • Stock - Includes the base design as depicted in this submission.
    • State - By removing the Proton Bombs and the Chutes to deploy them, the vessel is opened up, providing space for a sizeable meeting room, personal quarters, guest quarters, and amenities that rival that of most current Star Yachts.
    • Transport - Similar to the State model, the Bomb Chutes and Proton Bomb payload are removed, opening up the vessel to provide the space needed to carry additional troops or light vehicles.
    • Medical - Taking it a step further than the Transport module; the medical module sees the vessel equipped with a series of Bacta Tanks, Medical Droids, a handful of patient recovery beds, and a fully equipped surgical suite to prep injured personnel before being offloaded to a proper Medical Frigate or more adequate medical facilities.

  • Agility - Despite its size and heavy armor plating, the Kesh II is surprisingly more agile and maneuverable compared to its older counterpart. It relies on its speed to quickly target a position and hit it with a bombing run before rapidly removing itself from the battlefield.

  • Exposed Bridge - Set in an elevated forward position on the vessel, the bridge is exposed and makes for a tantalizing target. Were the defenses to fail and the bridge taken out, or targeted with concentrated fire, it could have the potential to destroy the bridge or otherwise leave the vessel crippled in the water as it were.

  • Limited Weaponry Coverage - The bulk of the vessel's weaponry is located on its Ventral side; with no other armaments, it relies heavily on fighter escorts, or air superiority to ensure that it is not attacked.

  • Low Squadron Numbers - For a vessel as versatile as the Kesh II, its size accounts for its limited amount of numbers when deployed in the field. This has the potential of cutting off ground forces from supplies, support, or a means of retreat if the squadron is downed when it was the only one available.

On the exterior, the vessel appears to be your run of the mill transport, with no capability of being modified or changed in any way save for deconstructing the vessel and rebuilding it from the ground up. However, its true strength is hidden inside of the vessel - with an internal structure designed in such a means that it is easily modified with one of four modular components that can be purchased after the fact - or preinstalled right off the factory floor. The Kesh II Modular Transport is a vessel that is capable of being rapidly modified for whatever a situation calls for; be it in its stock configuration and utilized as a bomber, or its medical configuration utilized to evacuate wounded personnel and civilians. Capable of fitting into a myriad of roles, the Kesh II is as versatile as those individuals that come into possession of the vessel.

The design is highly reminiscent of the older Nubian style vessels - however, having it coated in Chromium is an additional cost - its streamlined design that focuses on sweeping angles and curved sections are aesthetically pleasing to the eye. Its sleek design also matches its agile qualities, with the vessel capable of traveling at high speeds and being more maneuverable than most other transports. However, there are some drawbacks to the vessel as well, predominately due to its size; which limits the number of these vessels often deployed in a squadron. This is potentially hazardous due to the fact that if these vessels were downed or otherwise destroyed, it could potentially cut off ground side forces from supplies, support, or medical evacuation.

Additionally, its weaponry is located on its ventral side, leaving the rest of the vessel exposed and reliant upon its heavy defenses or additional starfighter screens to ensure its safety. Likewise, with the bridge sitting at an elevated forward position, the command crew of the vessel is exposed, making them a prime target for concentrated fire in an attempt to disable or down the vessel. In many cases, however, when the vessel is damaged to an extent, the bridge is capable of sealing itself off from the rest of the vessel and being launched as an emergency escape pod - though this option is highly cautioned against and suggested only deployed when the event of immediate recovery is likely.

You are above two ratings. Please reduce ratings if you are intending to keep at Minor Production.
