Intent:
For House Keth use in multiple roleplays. A place for the family to visit, live or feud. It is a very old site that I’ve used on different boards for different characters. [member="Darth Proeliator"], those related to him, [member="Serian Loria"], or any of the Keths can use it for RP at any time, with no PM or consent necessary, just don’t burn it down!Classification:
A large, expensive floating platform estate for living in, hosting dining guests, gardens, a small medical bay, sleeping quarters, a herbal collection, a vault and some personal training facilities.
A shield generator that would last about 30 minutes of bombardment by an average sized vessel, giving 3 posts or so for roleplaying purposes for evacuation.
5 small ocean craft, and 2 small atmospheric craft, with space to land a personal ship or two nearby.
15 Echani NPCs, 9 servants, 6 guards, with food and quarters for all.
Location:
Mon Calamari (Dac)Crystal Reef, one of the richer areas of the planet.
A separate platform, isolated enough to be only reachable by boat, but not so isolated to draw suspicion or undue attention.
Affiliation: [member="Taiden Keth"], [member="Darth Proeliator"], [member="Raien Keth"], House Keth, the Keth extended family, the Aldan extended Family, [member="Serian Loria"].
Description:
Factions Related. Silver Jedi, House Keth, Crystal Builders. - Former Sith Empire – Former Army of Light. A dome floating island, not quite a palace's size but close. Clear open windows look out, Echani have nothing to hide, and their architecture shows this. The Keth estate had been built with loving care, polished green, onyx marble surfaces gleam inside, while gold lined skirting boards demonstrate further wealth. The wall engravings are of intricate designs, studded with the occasional gemstone or Keth family symbolism.
There is a large blossoming garden at the heart of the estate, with a focus on silver, white and gold flowers. The garden is largely minimalist, adapted by Kiara based on an ancient fiery Sith Master named Sorcha whom she emulated. Taiden has adapted it further but it still holds a few of the qualities of each of the three inside, obviously loved and cared for on a daily basis. There are two small seats in the ornate garden, but these are rarely used, as Keth Echani are highly traditional and rarely sit for comforts sake.
Like the garden, the house is a strange mix of minimalist styles and opulence. The dining room is the latter, with an especially long green marble dining table, and a few stunningly crafted statues remaining all the way back from the original owners. While the main bedrooms and living areas are sparse by comparison, having more traditional Echani design, each room only has one singular, and clear purpose. Few distractions are present outside of the guest quarters.
There is an extensive pure white training area in the back of the estate, with droids, weapon racks, and training pillars that rotate. Next to it lies a manned control room, with a holomap of the local area, and sensory devices in case of unwanted visitors targeting the estate, or infiltrating it.
Outside there are multiple balconies and some plantlife which has recently been encouraged to surround the estate, luxurious automated deck chairs adjust for guests to sunbathe, and a small self-cleaning pool or two can be relaxed in. These are rarely used by the family itself, but guests enjoy spending time there. An important off limits area is the herbal garden at the back of the island, this is locked and sealed away, with some expensive hard to find plants within.
Plants in the Garden:
Rine Torve Weed - Behot - Shig - Marcan Herb - Grey Gabaki - Pommwomm - Tass Root - Scintil Vine . Along with cooking, and brewing herbs. This will be updated as his skill as a herbalist is, with any dev threads referenced where appropriate.
There are quarters for six guards, and nine servants, as well as several guest quarters should there be the need, a small silver medical bay exists with a single droid and enough room to treat two people. A reinforced bunker has been built into the bottom of the estate, as well as a hidden escape tunnel should it be needed. Finally next to the tunnel nestled in the very bottom of the facility, is a reinforced family vault, with a heavy duty door, floor and double hulled structure.
History:
Kiara Keth and [member="Darth Proeliator"], Daniel Aldan, raised their daughter Saeria Aldan-Keth here, raising her away from the Sith Empire so she would not be in danger by the life they had lived, or rivals within the empire. Kiara wanted every luxury possible used in its construction for her own ends, she valued wealth and her family’s station or name above all else. Daniel wanted every possible thing given to his daughter, and so while not manipulated, did provide for the family everything Saeria could want, spending a great personal fortune building their estate. The family were relatively happy here, away from the galaxy, and Kiara took it upon herself to be a Mother, which was a rare thing if you knew her. She did this to ensure her own survival, and Daniel made great pains to ensure the location remained a secret.
Funding: Originally backed by Daniel's rising status within the Sith empire, Kiara Keth's own links to the nobility of Thyrsus and her brother [member="Raien Keth"]'s rise to general, serenity of the flame, of his people's then homeworld. Mostly [member="Darth Proeliator"]'s money financed the construction with additions from Saeria's godfather [member="Serian Loria"] spent on security of the young girl, and the rest from Kiara's family ties.
Kiara Keth mysteriously vanished about the same time as her brother [member="Raien Keth"], presumed dead… so did her daughter Saeria… all presumed dead, like much of the family line.
Laying deserted for many years, until a descendant of Aiden Keth, [member="Raien Keth"] 's Brother, inherited the property in his will. One of the last surviving Keths, a very unpopular family on Thyrsus due to [member="Raien Keth"] 's actions involving his people. A multitude of wars, millions dead and other unspeakable atrocities isolated the Keths more and more. Since then it has been passed down as part of the family, providing a safe haven from their tarnished family name. For the last several years Taiden has lived here in his time away from Thyrsus, and his other work.
