Special Features: Seat for a Rider inbuilt into the metal, spiked, horn has a good reach past the head, stabilizing braces on the ankles for improved stability on uneven terrain. Double front armor for extra protection around the head and a heavier impact charge.
Description: This is an armor for the mounts of heavy shock troops, it is reasonably heavy but not cripplingly so, the use of Mirrsteel gives this the weight, while the hardened crystalplex offers some eye protection but not a lot. As with any well-made finished armor, an inert polymer plasteel coating gives its surface acid and scratch resistance to the finish to keep it looking new, and stop it from rusting or marking easily.
Krail provided the manufacturing base for this design, with certain fire for effect chemical and melee specialists having a hand in its fine tuning, to retain a 20% share of the profits of each unit sold. Though the production is only limited, it was considered an interesting first foray and stepping stone into the field by FFE to work in partnership with a more established yet still reclusive company. Krail is a company that Raien himself has been coveting over the last few years, to see where their future might lead them.
Strength:

Weaknesses:
-Any armor slows something down, this is a medium/heavy design, especially toward the front.
-No Special Cold or Lightsaber Resistance, No Special Sonic (Concussive Wave) Resistance, though standard sonic weapons will be resisted like standard blasters, sonic wave concussion would not receive the same protection.
-Direct fire weapons like particle beams or tensor tractors have no special protection or shielding, it’s still a metal that needs cutting through, but there is nothing in the design to deflect them specifically in an energy build up.
Strength/Weakness
+/- Standard explosive shells have a protection from nearby fragmentation or light grenades, but direct hits like heavier bolter rounds are still prone to penetrate, especially more than one of them.
