NAME:
Keva’sol’loro
FACTION:
Confederacy of Independent Systems
~Confederate Defense Force

FORCE SENSITIVE:
Force Sensitive, though little training Keva has only basic fundamentals in danger sense and weak telekinesis.
STRENGTHS:
Fourth Dimensional Dejarik
The soft spoken ones are usually the ones to keep an eye on: and that is easily true for Keva. The oddity of a “young” woman is not one for idle chatter and instead thoroughly embraces the stereotype of the “calm, calculated, and cunning Chiss”. No matter the situation there is some sort of plan for if things were to go much more violent than intended.
Well-Trained
Even though Keva is fresh out of the Academy within CIS space, this is not to imply she is not a well trained tool of war. Born within the martial society of the Chiss and trained for service within the Expansionary Defense Force. She is a bred and born soldier, unwavering in the face of the many horrors she had the honor of fighting against in the Unknown Regions, and few things in the wider Galaxy are as scary as what you find in the Unknown Regions.
WEAKNESSES:
Cultural Barriers:
Keva has spent much time within the holdings of the Ascendancy and much time under the tutelage of it’s officers: things in the wider Galaxy are very much not like Chiss space. And the somewhat naive Chiss has had her fair share of issues understanding the wider cultural norms of the Galaxy and just a much more basic language barrier: her understanding of basic not as strong as it should be.
The Commander
Keva is the mind behind an operation far more than a piece of actual muscle, with more basic military training under her belt and a handful of experience she has no issue leading from the front: but is far from actually built for such fighting.
APPEARANCE:
Keva is a rather unassuming woman, soft spoken and to the point most of the time she oozes a painfully average presence. Not painfully tall, nor moronically short, overweight or a complete brick of muscle. Just remarkably...plain. Slightly below average height for a Chiss, as fit as could be expected from a Military Commander.
Truly the only remarkable thing about Keva is the line of scars that run across the left side of her face, a gift from Vagaari raiders during her time fighting in the CEDF.
BIOGRAPHY:
When one lives in the Unknown Regions there is always an abundant need for bodies ready to fight and people more than ready to lead those bodies against unimaginable horrors ready to tear down any semblance of a peaceful exist: this sole reason is what Keva’Sol’Loro of the Chiss Ascendancy was raised to do. The military culture of the Ascendancy is something that creates Warriors, ready to pounce on whatever threats wished to lash out against that continuing bulwark of order within the Unknown Regions. The young Keva’Sol’Loro was built by this need and desire to fight against whatever monstrosities the many different types of scum within the Regions. Now, having a choice in the matter is something that could be hotly debated.
But regardless in her brief Chiss childhood Keva was given extensive teachings into military history, structure, and practices: obviously there was some hunting for fame here, having your child become the premier Chiss military leader would have it’s benefits. Though such backhanded interests never were able to manifest. Amusingly enough while these teachings into military practice were grossly high, something as basic as Galactic Standard Basic was far more neglected, which inevitably come back around to bite once Keva defected from the CEDF.
Her training would come to course eventually, finding herself a comfortable position within the CDEF as a low ranking officer. Filling in those handful of menial tasks and learning to command a small handful of troops given to her command. It was a hard working, basic, and fulfilling job for the young Chiss. Actual command a desired but distant prospect within this remarkably uneventful part of Keva’s life and career.
So much of Keva’s adult life was spent within the CEDF, and she found little to show for it. A small force of warriors sitting under her command: more than ready to embrace the ruthlessly efficient approach to war their commander had chosen. Except for the scars, of course: during some of her years within the CEDF Keva had the “joyous” gift of fighting against the much hated Vagaari Raiders. In a violent duel in space and defending against boarding actions, the biological weapons of the raiders scarring the face of the young Chiss during the chaotic encounter: implanting both the undeniable mark of a veteran and an unending hatred for anything that even vaguely resembles the disgusting raiders and slavers of the Vagaari.
But as time progressed, the Unknown Regions began to seem smaller and smaller, the impact of the CEDF and the Ascendancy expanding little beyond the small blotch of territory they had claimed within the chaos. Encounters with things such as the Vagaari had filled Keva with an undeniable urge to simply go outward, to crush any such creatures that simply violated the peace and security of the Galaxy. And the Ascendancy was not the path to such a goal.
So she left.
Disappearing in a carefully and meticulously planned defection the now very much lost Chiss was stuck looking out into the affairs of the wider Galaxy with a suboptimal knowledge of basic: quite the massive hunt to find whoever could fulfill her plans well and proper. And it was decided that the “Confederacy of Independent Systems” as they called themselves (attempts at actually saying the name in the early days given up rather quickly), the odd and bizarre adventure of trying to reach the whole other side of the Galaxy with little money, little knowledge of the galactic language, and no ship.
But eventually the young Chiss made her way into the folds of the Confederate’s space, in broken and poor basic she told her story and her mission. Being sent to be acquainted with the military doctrines of the CIS over the Ascendancy, it was...regrettable...that she would be stuck with droids but sacrifices do need to be made some times. Making her way throughout the academy to be acquainted to this new environment, Keva was thrown into the confederacy’s CDF (the irony of the name was not lost on her) as a Marshal: finally getting command of her new tool of peace.
Of course, her effectiveness is still yet to be proved. A new commander, fresh with a nice little medal from the Academy.
