The Draelvasier took the galaxy by storm burning countless worlds in a devastating conflagration, destroying countless species. War is a sacred art to this species, and they have perfected the waging of it more than any other species in the known galaxy. It was at the height of this conflict that plans for a new weapon were being developed. Rakvul the Darkener, Warlord of the Bryn'adul Empire & Wrath of the Chieftain was driven with an obsessive need for destruction. A constant need for evolutionary perfection burned within his mind, within all as the Draelvasier pushed ever forward. ​

In time their culture began to change as they began to slowly adapt and acquire the technology of their opponents, gradually adapting and implementing the best of this into their own arsenal to push the war machine forward. The Warlord was an accomplished military commander and a destroyer of worlds. In his rampage through the galaxy, he began to desire perfection in his annihilation of worlds. To this end he poured endlessly over the pilfered technology from various ships, laboratories, and shipyards pillaged from various worlds. For the overall structure of the weapon Verikast plating was utilized. It was from technology that he acquired the powerful element known as Isotope-5. The element was an incredible generator of power, and he hypothesized that when combined with the recently discovered Draemidus Finis Crystals, would produce devastating results.​

The Darkener went to work.​

A series of special focusing lenses of Draemidus Finis Crystal was developed after the construction of an Isotope-5 Power Generator. To further increase the destructive potential of the weapon, Rakvul included a refined lense of Draemidus Prime Ore to magnify its explosive power. The initial tests of the concept proved deadly when the sheer power of the weapon proved to be too much, causing a catastrophic meltdown and destruction of the weapon. The Warlord and other scientists went back to the drawing board, it was clear the weapon needed an advanced cooling system in order to keep it stable and prevent such a disaster from occuring and damaging a ship. To this end they once more turned towards galactic technology for the answer. Studies of various ship-based weaponry revealed a unique system of duravlex barrel lining to cool and stabilize the weapon. ​

This technology was adapted along with the addition of both coolant tanks and remodulating buffer heatsinks were a trifold system to ensure the stability of the system. But there were dire warnings associated with an overreliance on technology as taught by the Kad'Maera, the base of Draelvasier culture that preaches the seven tenets. One of the tenets professes a need for balance between technological reliance and nature. After all nature will always triumph over such weakness that technology can bring. To this end they extensively reworked the weapons internal systems exclusively utilizing Draelvasier technology. ​

A Kraemonen Hive Network was further put into place augmented directly with specially designed Mind Stones throughout the weapon accessible only by these unique creatures. It was through this system that vastly improved the operating capacity of the weapon, as well as the development of highly advanced safeguards far exceeding what even the most cutting-edge technology could develop. It allowed the organism to monitor the weapon in real time, with levels on par with even the fastest artificial intelligence and vastly improved the firing capability and accuracy of the weapon. ​

It ensured the weapon would not fire without the safeguards in place, ensuring the weapon would not cause damage to itself or any ship it was placed on. It further allowed pinpoint accuracy to anything within a 180° firing arc. Due to the weapons complex systems, it could not fire at anything outside of its arc. In addition, it cannot target smaller, fast-moving ships. The weapon was installed directly inside the prow of the Desolation-class Battlecruiser "Scourge". After witnessing the weapons terrible destructive power, Rakvul officially named the weapon after the one person who held his fanatical loyalty, his liege, the Chieftain of the Draelvasier Tathra Khaeus. It would forever be known as the Khaeon Purification Superlaser. When its wrath was unleashed all life died before it in glorious fire.​
