STRENGTHS

• Fully Automated: As expected from an N&Z ship, it comes decked out with its own AI in order to remove the majority of menial tasks from the hands of the pilots , and usually can also take over the firing duties as well. Coupled with the ship's sensory array and connection to the datalink and hololink networks, the ship has automated distress call feautures which activate when the AI is forcefully rebooted or shut down without the proper procedure, thus indicating something being amiss.
• Well balanced: The Khopesh-Class STC combines the usefulness of a troop carrier, a gunship and a maneuvrable raider all in one ship, making it an extremely versatile platform for other classifications and versions.
• Excellent atmospheric capacity: Having both access in space and a hyperdrive means that this ship outclasses most other troop transport vessels and limited range gun ships.

WEAKNESSES

• Fully automated: As with the majority of N&Z ships, this ship has the automation both as a boon and a bane, for when the system works, it is an absolute godsent, but when it fails and the crew is shorthanded to handle the menial, but crucial tasks on the ship it could become a problem, especially when there is no experienced engineer or mechanic on board to keep an eye on the engines and reactor without the AI system keeping it all in check.
• Outboard engine vents: The engines exhaust vents and cooling vents are located at the rear and are only minimally shielded by plating, meaning that with the external shields down, these can be a prime target to cripple this ship.

DESCRIPTION
The Khopesh-Class, just like the smaller Khopek-class variations was designed by Parn Sagitar, widely recognised as the most brilliant starship designer within the N&Z, thus it would be no surprise that this one too symbolizes the man's easthetic tastes with a fluid looking exterior, a flowing line and curved form with somewhat excentric electrum detailing to emphasize the brilliance of this ship. By heavily utilizing Ersteel SLCA, a metal alloy with high tensile strength and rigidity, the outer plating could be made thinner, but at the same time, the increased size of this vessel would allow for the installment of the tried and tested SSP/SIXTUS shield system package, rather than is the case with the Khopek-class, which did not have the space to install this complete pack.

With the outer skeleton thinner and less bulky, the design utilizes its shape to its advantage, maximizing interior space for the sake of the very mission it was designed and built for: transporting things, be it soldiers or cargo, and with the addition of this ship being capable of maneuvring and reaching speeds comparable to standard top-tier starfighters. This makes the Khopesh one of the more useful cargo and troop transport.
