Khyra grew up learning how to fight from everyone around her, even before joining either the Matukai or the Order of the Solar Hand. While she is versed in many forms of combat, she prefers unarmed combat.

|BIOGRAPHY|
Khyra was born on a Thyrsian outpost in the Outer Rim, her parents were both Sun Guard warriors that had joined an expedition to build a community on a new world. Khyra did not get to see much of this new world, as when she was only nine galactic standard years old the outpost was attacked by raiders. Her family was killed and she was taken. She was saved by a Warden of the Sky and his partner, a Matukai. Khyra was taken under their tutelage, as she had no home of her own anymore. They showed her the ways of fighting without armor, easier when moving on the space lanes, and she took to it readily, eager for something familiar. Soon after she started showing an aptitude for the Force, and they delved ever deeper into their teachings.
From these surrogate parents, she learned Teras Kasi and other unarmed combats. She learned to love it, training in it became a way to bridge the life of her youth to her current life and brought her peace. After nearly a decade of traveling with the two, Khyra split away from them to go her own way. She found the Order of the Solar Hand, whose teachings were very similar to her own understanding, and spent time with them. She can often be found either with another dedicant of the Solar Hand or traveling the space lanes.
