- Multi-spectrum jamming system: The Kih Jair-class is fitted with multiple jammers, meant to foil various scanner and targeting systems used throughout the galaxy, and includes a missile deactivation transmitter, sensor scrambler, jamming beam, and incorporating the LLT-12 Erebus Jamming Array. These systems are fairly indiscriminate if not used carefully, and it simply send out the jamming signals, thus effecting anything in the direction the signal is sent.
- Hacking suite: The EWC features a fairly extensive hacking suite, allowing the corvette to potential hack into targets systems for data or attempting to disrupt an enemy vessel or facility's functions.
- Comms scrambler: Similar to the Multi-spectrum jamming system, the comms scrambler is another system meant to flood comm signals with interference, and cycle through which channel is the "safe" one. The Kih Jair-class can also send signal codes to other ships in its fleet to allow them to know the what this "safe" channel sequence is and sync to it.
- Electronic warfare master.
- Very fast when it needs to be.
- Agile.
- Almost no firepower.
- Multi-spectrum jamming system and comms scrambler are somewhat directional and can be countered by friendlies respectively, but indiscriminate, effecting any vessel caught in them.
- The hacking suite is only as good as the hacker behind the screen.
The Kih Jair-class, translating to Little Scream, is an electronic warfare corvette designed to support various by wrecking havoc on scanners, comms, and targeting systems. Nicknamed "Techies" by Gred pilots, these EWCs follow a similar design philosophy to the companies past fast attack corvettes, featuring powerful engines. As opposed to being used in hit and run engagements, this speed and agility allows the small ship to dart around its own fleet, using its primary features where needed.
These features are various counter measures, jamming systems, and hacking suite. Featuring a LLT-12 Erebus Jamming Array, pairs of Caltrop-5 chaff guns and DL-1 decoy launchers, a missile deactivation transmitter, sensor scrambler, jamming beam, and comms scrambler, all packed into the fairly large, for a corvette, frame. While many of the systems can be indiscriminate in nature, they are quite vital for the ships mission. In it's main offensive measure, the Kih Jair-class has a hacking suite, allowing it to "attack" enemy computer systems, and while it gives any hacker most of the tools they would need, the suite is still only as good as the hacker using it.
With a primary mission of electronic warfare, the Kih Jair-class has one last weakness in it's own lack of firepower. For the 200m vessel, there are only four twin laser turrets, and while the chaff guns can be used to fire on enemy fighters, this is definitely not a frontline fighter.
