- Description: Formed from the leftover remnant forces on kiliea. After many were taken and killed to bring them under heel of a sith warlord and more taken offworld to fight on other planets and be killed for him. The remnant forces split with some seeking to overthrow the remaining royal family of Atrisia and become more militaristic and imperial and others wanting to defend their world. Under Commander Hel the Matriarchy formed mostly because there were few to little males left and many under Mohc were mixture of mercenaries and offworlders. The resistance at first becoming more and more organized as they garnered support from other Commonwealth worlds.

HISTORICAL INFORMATION
In the longer history of the Atrisian colony the Matriarchy is one of the shorter things to spring from it. Forming near 860 ABY when the One Sith Warlord came to the world and divided the people taking large portions of the men to fight in foreign battles on the other side of the galaxy similar to what was done on Atrisia and Frisal or a dozen worlds in the Commonwealth that fell under his 'sector'. With some forces being loyal after bribes and some because of the advancement they got. When the warlord was defeated and vanished finally under operation Syuri on Atrisia... other planets worked to overthrow his influences. A civil war breaking out after Mohc and Xiro came to the world looking to use it as a base of operations to overthrow the Atrisian Royal family.
Hel a lady of the court and leader in the resistance itself fought at the battle of the Keyes... one of the major ports of the planet sustaining injuries to her person. Her second in command Nyssa covering and protecting her until a ship could arrive for their squad. Hel was in a military hospital when the first leaders of the resistance were attacked and killed. Command falling to her and with most of their husbands, brothers, fathers or sons killed... she began drafting anyone who could fight and could resist. Having them trained as most seemed to agree that the best way to fight back was to organize a stronger resistance into an official military force on the planet and alternative governmental body. THey needed an identy and name to be regarded was and Hel went with the obvious before she went into surgery to give her optical implants.
The Kiliean Matriarchy was formed at least for the time... they would be something trying to recover and retake the world from the forces that were trying to destabilize the Commonwealth itself. It also fit with them as with most of the male son the planet dead or missing aside from old men and children... the majority of positions were being filled by female soldiers. Hel herself came through the emergency surgery with new eye implants and newly made honor guards who would protect her as the highest ranking member of the newly formed government. THey hired on mercenaries who coudl train their forces better... got support from Atrisia for more equipment aside from some medical supplies and began to bring the fight to the enemy forces.
Than things changed as they seemingly began to get a foothold... Mohc and Xiro seemed to vanish their forces still loyal and diehards but support waned as the people wanted it to end. Hel began to try and pull back enough that they would be able to issue for peace or some dort of reunion. With the leaders seemingly gone there was only commanders like Asagoa Chunagon left to oppose and the few criminal elements of the Commonwealth that had been invited to try and raid supply lines. Hel and the others worked with the Commonwelath forces and Star league under
Arla Rodarch
to give relief to the people in the form of medicine and food while trying to rebuild sections of the city or on the planet.
