They are native to Ryloth, an Outer Rim planet with deserts and jungles, and are affiliated with the Galactic Republic and the Twi'lek Resistance. Twi'leks are considered one of the most common species in the galaxy and can easily blend into crowds. They are often used as entertainers or slaves, and those with rarer skin colors are considered status symbols.
