As a Kage Warrior trained in both unarmed and close quarters combat Kin often dispatches his enemies up close and personal, closing the gap of range with stealth and speed before overpowering them with his natural strength and skills in swordsmanship.
Though a force sensitive, Kin has never actually been trained to use his gift. Use of the force is not yet something he can willingly control— save for the use of force cloaking and novice level telekinesis. Additionally, his specialty at close range also translates into a weakness in long range combat. As a traditional Kage Warrior, Kin has little to no training with the use of blasters and the like. As far as ranged combat is concerned, all he has of use are throwing daggers that are easily nullified by armor.
APPEARANCE:
The first and most noticeable aspect of the young Kage hybrid is his physical stature. Standing over six foot and three inches tall he often towers over others of his both his kage and human race. Lean yet considerably muscular, Kin possesses a body beaten to physical perfection through a life spent training as a Kage Warrior. As such it is not an understatement to consider him at the peak of his physical prime even at such a young age.
Though a mix between the Human and the Kage race, one could hardly tell the diversity of Kin’s ethnicity with Humans and Kage being two races of near identical appearance, though the prime difference being the Kage’s noticeably paler skin and rare colored eyes. While Kin’s skin tone is mostly a mix between his races— being neither pale nor tan, but instead a shade in between— his eyes are one complete giveaway of his Kage heritage. Born with a perfect shade of pure gold irises and sporting medium length jet black hair it is not so far a stretch to consider Kin a handsome young man, though all such advantages his looks may provide are all but hidden away beneath the black and golden Kage Warrior mask he can rarely be seen without.
As Kage Warrior, Kin’s usual choice of attire is fit according to his role. As a habit, he is always clothed in shades of black to blend with the night even when dressed casually, when in his mission outfit, he can be seen with two electro swords strapped across his waist with an elegant utility belt filled including— though not limited to— throwing daggers, smoke bombs, and a grappling hook.
BIOGRAPHY:
Born to a slave mother in the depths of Quarzite, Kin’s early childhood was one spent treated with abuse from their Belugan masters and daydreaming of freedom. Never knowing his father, Kin was naturally curious, always inquiring from his mother whenever he could. It was from there that he would learn tales of his father, a human jedi knight, travelling the world to better the galaxy. It was also then that she would tell him of his father’s promise to one day return and liberate the slaves of Quarzite from the rule of their unjust masters; a promise never to be fulfilled.
Eventually the slaves of Quarzite would be freed by a mercenary faction of Kage Warriors led by a man known as Pranda Thorn. Through blood and steel they would take back their fellow Kage, slaying the Belugans who had dared to delegated their people as slaves. However, as kind as Pranda was in liberating his people, at his core the man was an extremist who lusted for power one whose motivations in freeing the slaves came solely through a contract to exterminate the Belugans. Though many were freed, a great amount of slaves had been taken as hostages and killed when Pranda and his men had refused to back down in their slaughter of the Belugans, and among the slaves whose lives had forever been lost was Kin’s own mother. It was there that his first use of the force would come. In loss of his loved one he felt despair, which soon turned to anger pointed towards the mercenary Pranda. An uncontrolled burst of force telekinesis would send everyone away from the nine year old boy, followed by an outburst targeted at Pranda. In the end, it was not enough to kill the man or damage him, instead only coloring him impressed. From then the boy’s fate would be sealed.
After that fateful day, the once slave boy would be trained and groomed to become one of Pranda’s finest Kage Warriors. A child soldier taught in the art of stealth, unarmed combat, and swordsmanship through the use of electro swords. Despite the lack of a teacher in the force, Kin would later find himself proficient with the use of force cloaking, even able to make himself invisible with great focus. It was that very skill that would turn him into a distinguished member of Pranda’s band of mercenary Kage Warriors.
