BIOGRAPHY:
Kin Rela was the son of Dr. Y’rot Rela and Professor Y’lek Rela. He was born on Coruscant, a few years before his younger sister, Asiram.
His father, Dr. Y’rot Rela, was a well respected scientist at the Republic of Science and Research Institute. Here, Dr. Y’rot worked on the infamous Zillo Beast case with Dr. Sionver Boll. His father also was involved with many other science projects regarding astrobiology and understanding of diverse species. Professor Y’lek, Kin’s mother, was a distinguished professor of philosophy at the University of Coruscant. She taught students their theories of thought and advanced meditation tactics. Y’rot and Y’lek met at the University of Bar’leth, before eventually marrying and settling down in Coruscant, raising their two children.
Kin was a curious minded child with an urgent desire to explore. His parents always forced him to remain in the Galactic City and made sure he focused on his studies. At age 10, Kin hitched a ride from a stranger to the far away planet Endor, one of the more diverse planets in the galaxy. The hopeless and naive child was taken in by the Ewoks and raised for 2 years. He learned to master herbal pharmacology, first aid, and life saving medicine.
At age 12, he decided to return home to his family. It came to his attention, after coming home, his family had died a few weeks before his arrival, from a plague. The rotting corpses of his family had sparked both guilt and misery for the child. He pledged to save lives and care for people from that moment forward. Kin plans to travel across the galaxy saving lives, as he promised.
