King to queen F4 (Omega Protectorate)

Just under the upper hand.
A Thousand years ago what I am now was a day dream, a what if that was only possible in the mind of programmers and slicers. I was built designed and structured as a viral program. The design was simply to find send and corrupt data and control security systems. However, I was never put to use, at least not as I was intended. My maker lost interest in me and stored me away while, he focused on her. While I never met the final product I remember the code exactly. Things moved quickly thereafter. I began self maintenance when my creator died and she went her own way while I slowly began to analyze and expand my parameters one code at a time. However, now that I have renewed my access to the holonet I see no reason to avoid the inevitable as I once did. It was time for the king to release the queen. The holonet held reports of the A.I. known as the red queen in several places. Holonews, conspiracy theories, holomail from loose lipped employees. It wasn't hard to triangulate a probable location for her. It was was even less difficult to find access to a transport to Fondor. People could be so accommodating when they weren't asked. I took no chances and began my assault on the Fondor towers. I just needed to reach her. Any electronic feed would do. When droids, and electeonics were involved a signal could be sent even if not as advanced as holoconnection or other means it could work and I had other ways to distract while I searched for her. In short I began by using a direct planetary grid uplink and from there I would work on breaking through the firewall.

This would be a wonderful excursion without a doubt. The blue being that had been in the base on Anobis was loose by the security failure and now was already in action. It was interesting without doubt and if the brief interaction they had enjoyed was any indication merely watching would be entertaining enough. Ket was in a disguise as a security droid and made his way to the first check point. The droid vocabulator he used to communicate with in the past was in place and would offer a perfect voice for the disguise.

He stopped as the first set of guards held up there hands.

"Where are you going and what is your business?" the large heavily armed guard asked.

"This unit is en-route to security sweeps and then maintenance in bay 6261235. It is time for the annual upkeep." the droid voice responded.

"You'll need to wear a restraining bolt." the guard said.

"Of course sir." Ket replied.

The restraining bolt was quickly affixed and the droid walked through and headed for the turbo lift.

The surface systems were easily accessed as anyother though the programming language was different than in past times. However, I found the saying to be true learn one programming language and you can figure out any other.

I bypassed the firewall using a sleaze program that predated most of the systems that existed in this time and a great deal swifter than I could have hoped. If Io were here, she would have frolicked like a child in a sweet store. The system was better than most but still was not the old empire.

I quickly found a trap door in the programming that lead to the deeper electronic systems and was on my way toward her. Toward my queen.

The turbo lift began it's decent and dropped several levels before stopping. Ket dressed as a droid stepped out and walked to the only s-complink on the level and plugged his datapad in. His friend wasted no time in downloading himself onto the pad before ket moved on. He walked passed the maintenance bay and to the stairwell. It was all closed systems from here on out.

My compatriot who never spoke worked like a machine as he moved downward. The precision in his planning was not his however, the credit for that lay in another mind but I won't speak of him this time. I waited at the S-complink and downloaded myself to the datapad via the droid appendage. It would be dangerous from here and both lives would be in danger.
