HISTORY
Kitanwarr, a descendant of the Kachirho clan, was born on Rakhuuun, a Wookiee colony world renowned for its masterful shipbuilding. Though raised among Rakhuuun’s artisans and engineers, he spent most of his academic years on Kashyyyk, studying at the Kashyyyk Military Academy with the goal of becoming an engineer. He took pride in his ability to defend his people through both intellect and strength, serving in the Kashyyyk Army as a combat engineer.
At the age of 135, still young by Wookiee standards, Kitanwarr’s life was upended by the Mandalorian Neo-Crusaders’ invasion during a brutal campaign on Kashyyyk. The Mandalorians dismantled the Wookiee Elder Council and installed
Spayyghen
, a ruthless collaborator who enforced their rule. As the Kashyyyk Army fell into disarray, Kitanwarr and a handful of warriors refused to surrender, fleeing into the towering wroshyr forests and into the stars to continue the fight from the shadows.Drawing inspiration from the Shyyyo bird, a near-mythical creature of Kashyyyk’s highest canopies, Kitanwarr and his allies formed the Shyyyo Defenders, a resistance force dedicated to sabotaging the Mandalorian occupation.
Kitanwarr’s ultimate goal is to overthrow Spayyghen and liberate Kashyyyk from Mandalorian control. With each successful raid and act of defiance, he hopes to reclaim his home and restorie Wookiee sovereignty. For him, the war is far from over—the Shyyyo flies highest in the storm, and he intends to soar.
