Weaknesses: He's not well skilled in social graces or ceremonial behavior, nor is he overly fond of rigid hierarchies, which leads to issues in the military. His training, so to speak, is not standardized either, and he believes his methods are superior enough to warrant an argument over the different methods. He's also honest and blunt to a fault, which makes his gambling habit fairly risky. He's not fully versed on the most current technology either, coming from a backwater planet with no industry and only a little more contact with the rest of the galaxy.
Strengths: He's honest and trustworthy to a fault. He's likable, most of the time, and generous with what he has. He's also an excellent field reconnaissance officer, and decent survival instructor. He's a great marksman. All come from his life on Kelchase. He's respectful, even on the common occassion he thinks people are wrong.

BIOGRAPHY:

Kiyron was born, and lived on Kelchase. It's a lowly populated, rather dry, and forested planet with craggy mountains. He and his parents lived in a small farm settlement of their own, a long way from their nearest neighbors, all of whom lived on scattered settlements of their own. Occasionally, they would all gather for trade with whatever merchants may have arrived and with each other. Other than that, they were mainly on their own, living by farming, hunting, and trading elaborate wood carvings whenever possible.
When he was 19, a terrible plague hit Kelchase from origins unknown, and there was nothing anyone could do about it. Word managed to reach the Republic, and they sent a team of doctors and researchers to stop it. Both of Kiyron's parents and his younger sister caught it, and so he had to flee to the mountains to avoid getting sick, where he lived for a while until the plague was contained. The doctors managed to save his parents, and younger sister. In gratitude, he offered to go with them and assist the Republic any way he can.
He currently has lately arrived on Tython with the medical team and is trying to figure out how to assist a massive, galaxy-spanning government with his skills.
He enlisted in the Wildcards, serving under Kei Amadis until he left the Republic with most of the Wildcards for the Army of Light, upon which he assumed command of the remainder of the unit, reorganized into a platoon, taking it through its first mission at Valan, in which he was injured by a burst of Dark Side energy. He has only recently returned to duty, serving under Hasjo Hallu on the patrol of the border.
From there, he transferred to Havoc Squad until the unit defected to OP at which case he was temporarily assigned the creation of a light infantry unit but was then transferred to command of Rogue Regiment and promoted to Colonel.
Served at Carida and the defense of Alderaan, and sustained severe injuries both times.
