- Loyal Boi: The KJ-S0 Jedi Security droids were incredibly loyal to the cause of the Jedi Order. While mere machines they went above and beyond to serve their Jedi Masters
- Jedi Training: While not as agile as a full Jedi Knight, they were able to accurately perform Jedi lightsaber forms with ease, making them difficult opponents for both blaster wielding and lightsaber wielding opponents
- Do it All Droids: Security, piloting, training, these droids fulfill the needs of hundreds of Jedi and act as travel companions for the increasingly common solo missions. They keep younglings out of trouble, help prospective knights train, aid Masters in their research and everything in between.
- Droids: Ultimately they are droids and are just as susceptible to ion weapons and EMPs as any other droid. While duraplast can be reinforced to resist Ion and EMP weapons, it is not done so here.
- Lightsabers: While duraplast is generally slightly resistant to lightsabers, requring several strikes especially on the torso and armored portions like the head, its limbs are think and a powerful strike with a lightsaber on a high power setting can cleave through it just fine.
- Slicing: They are no more resistant to slicing than any other droid
Originally developed for the security of the Green Jedi Temple, their success and generally good reviews saw a further production line of the droids produced. While these were not produced with their own lightsabers, droids were often given high powered training lightsabers which weren't powerful enough to cut through durasteel but could cut flesh or stun thicker skinned species. Programmed with a variety of lightsaber forms and combat forms they could defend themselves against an assailant or help defend their Jedi Masters in the field. The droids were widely adopted by the Jedi Order of the Republic as they lacked numbers in both Jedi and Non-Jedi aid to run the temples. These droids alongside a variety of others and the small number of volunteers helped keep the Jedi Order functioning. They could often bee seen in Coronet City running errands for Jedi Masters or in the halls of the various Jedi Temple Outposts of the Republic Jedi. Many Jedi Knights took on the droids as aids, gaining them the nickname Page Droids.
