This ship was designed to be a small scale carrier that was also capable of beating up enemy fighter squadrons. In order to be able to not get melted by enemy capital ships, the defenses were beefed up against their weapons systems. However, the ship isn't designed to go toe to toe with enemy capital vessels and only has a few weapons emplacements for taking them down. This ship is an excellent anti-pirate vessel and an excellent support vessel when engaged in fleet combat.
